He gets more than most soldiers get. Soldiers are shot at for your country, Bellerin uses your money to holiday

Alright David pleat( if you don't get that reference, see his interview after we knocked Spurs out the league cup semi. Perspective people died tonight etc)
A holiday is just that a holiday
Next time I have one I won't break the habit of a lifetime and drive my taxi around
Bellerin back in training tomorrow after a 3 week holiday after 10 months football
Soldiers wages?
Behave

10 months of football? Soldiers are out for longer tours, fighting for their lives in Afghanistan. Bellerin hardly played after we went 3 at the back. Doing your job once a week for 10 months, getting money for it and mocking the fans for paying his wages. Doesn't get worse than that.

As for soldiers, valid point, imo, we should give soldier's footballer's wages. After all, Bellerin should tell about his struggles being abused by the fans to one of the mothers of the soldiers lost in Afghanistan, and see how much sympathy he gets

he called it a difficult night at crystal palace
I have not seen him go all hearts of darkness nor draw comparison with those brave souls working in conditions that thankfully we would never have to imagine
In a perfect world you would have nurse idol on a Saturday night
The fans had every right to express dissatisfaction with that abject display at palace
The fact that it didn't come in isolation was enough to stir the ire
And you will get no argument from me that footballers are in a bubble that removes them from the real world but to lay all ills at the door of bellerin is unfair
If he is underperforming it's the job of the manager to drop him
He was worse at Spurs but had good games v Leicester Everton and at stoke

Per is smart

Bellerin has horrendous music choices, and is still getting more than soldier's wages

That was the best player to player video I have seen.

Most of them are so cringe! but this was actually quite good and felt like two adults chatting without it felling forced.

Before I was self employed I worked in the print
When I went on holiday my company paid my wages
I had no compunction about that fact nor worried that there were people who were my mates working while I holidayed
Call me selfish but while I was in Florida my thoughts did not stray to Afghanistan once
I had lost my grandad on a previous visit there
That was a heart wrenching one but to bring up soldier fighting a distant war to beat up a footballer is really lame
