I repeat fullbacks with pace and good offensive skills are sought after cos they widen the canvas to stretch the opposition. Bellerin definitely has to work on his positioning but he provides us firepower on the right flank. He will improve defensively, still young enough.

Think Lich should start a few games though, yes Bellerin got the assist but a few seconds more and he would of over played it, he never releases the ball quick enough.

I mean, no one's laughing at you, because we're not children.

But really when 2 out of 3 goals come from a player it's a bit weird to use that game as reason to drop a player?

That was posted before the assists. He was destroyed defensively as well.

He hasn't been the same since since Mertesacker left really he just one of those player who needs an intelligent CB next to him in order to thrive, we really should have went all out on a top CB look at the way Van Dijk has transformed that Liverpool defence

Utter crap defensively, looks out of position many times leaving the cbs to cover him. Anyone who take him one on one will probably dribble past him 90% all the time.

And he still gets to start every game in the new season.

Loool mate that's like saying if Welbeck held onto the ball for longer he wouldn't have scored. Obviously.

The reality is that he released the ball on time and found the man.

Still think he needs to improve his crossing. As usual had a few of his hitting the first man. Nice work for the assist though.

He was still f***ing shit anyway. 2 out of 900000000 crosses (btw first one was pushed by the keeper to nacho) getting past the first defender doesn't make a diff, he's average going forward and shit at the back despite his pace.

Lichtsteiner has to start.

People not thinking Bellerin is the best RB ever? God, I missed this place

Bellerin is an utterly shit defender - the worst in the team - and a fairly decent offensive player.
I think he should only ever play as a wing-back OR as a winger - NEVER in a back 4.

He has to be judged on his defensive duties first and foremost - on that basis he should not be in the team, or anywhere near it.
I doubt he will survive very long under Emery's management.
