I couldn't care less what other clubs in Europe think about Bellerin, he isn't even the best RB at Arsenal and the others we have are mediocre at best !

Yeah...if he was any good. His entire value comes from the bits you've listed.

tbf i think he'd do well in a slower league like italy or a non-competitive league like france

i think the english premier league is too much for him following his injury.

i can see him flourishing at juve for example under allegri who will drill the defence day in day out.

Yep, plus a team that plays 5 atb will suit him now with his body deteriorating. He simply can't defend but maybe Max can get more out of him with all the experience around him.

Liverpool sold Brewster for 24 odd million, other clubs are selling unproven kids for 15-20 million, I don’t think 20 million is a good deal considering how much he’s played for us.

He’s not great but he’s worth more than 20 million.

Not being funny but Brewster had only played lower league football, 27 games no goals for Sheffield Utd that’s how good he is.

Bellerin has played at the highest level and was rated highly at one point, thar makes him worth more than Brewster who had hardly played.

That's the point, Brewster was a young lad they took a chance on since they were desperate for a goal scorer.

Bellerin is proven shit despite his previous high hopes and 'big name'. I'd expect nothing more than 30m at best but considering we always sell for peanuts anyway then 20-25m more likely.

Give him to Barca along with £10m. Get Pjanic and Coutinho in return.

Sheffield Utd can spend £24m on Brewster because they earned £133m for staying up last year. Even with relegation, they made £91m.

https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-re ... ize-money/

How many of their players are 100k or 200k pw? None. So making big bets like that are still worth it, because their wage bill is relatively low as a % of revenue.

Bigger clubs are in a different position, because their wage bills are enormous. We have been paying the equivalent of a Brewster just to cover Partey and PEA's wages, and that's on top of Partey's £45m transfer fee. Before them, it was Ozil and Mhikytaryan.

So Bellerin is not going to command a high price, because the club will also have to lay out a £100k + wage contract as well.

Yup, and the fact that strikers go for more money than defenders. .....

Good decision. Imagine having to listen to Arteta for another year.

Just seen it.

Yes please, he's just cruising here and I don't like him as a person, he seems very wet and self absorbed to me to the point he doesn't seem like he wants to give his all here.

I actually see him as more abject than some people thought Ozil looked like, for me Ozil was a relaxed manorism and annoyed with being expected to do the job of defending but other than that he wanted to play for AFC.

Bellerin, I actually think he thinks he's too good for the team or simply doesn't want to fight for us, this just proves it to me, that time when he was willing to slag off AFTV and the fans for moaning as well.

Just no, glad he's going.
