Would it be remotely realistic to visit an away game? I think ive read on here that away games are very tough to get in as a red member.

Away to Aston Villa would be the dream
Id like to visit Birmingham and live the Peaky Blinders lol

Gonna be no chance through official channels mate, better off trying facebook ticket groups but be careful for scammers - make sure the seller is verified by others.

Otherwise, hope we get back in the Europa League and go to one of those instead

You could go into the home seats and not move or speak for 90 minutes.

Lol, if anyone pays £150 to watch us away at Villa....

Absolute robbery, tickets would be ~£25 through official channels.

Are the Villa supporters known for being hostile?
Just asking incase I can't stop myself lol

Im confident I can take anyone 1 on 1 but I'll be having my wife next to me

Impressed by the determination you have to go watch the garbage we produce. I share a season ticket with family and got 2 games left which I cba to go to but will go to and was offered the Brighton game which I denied straight away. f**k going to an extra one.

Whereas you want to go. I salute you sir. I hope one day I can recover the same passion you have to watch us play.

I remember my local team i played for did a trip to watch villa vs arsenal (about 30 years ago tbf) and I went with a massive arsenal flag and wearing my arsenal shirt as were lots of others. We were in the villa end but i think they must have had a mixed area for kids/'tourist' types/groups cos they still let us in.

I remember going to Leicester vs Arsenal (game where Stephen Hughes scored a late equaliser) and sitting with the home fans. When Hughes scored a bunch of Arsenal fans in that section cheered. It was not pretty. Fans clambering over seats throwing punches. I do recall quite a mixed crowd in other areas of the stadium that day too.

poor Villa fans wont know what hit them ;)

But yeah its more the threat of her getting hurt that will stop me from doing anything crazy
Her safety is my top priority, that comes before happiness and all that other good stuff

Away to Birmingham will be quite the trip, quite expensive too. But really, there are only 2 away games that are really on my list
Away to West Ham and away to Liverpool

Villa would be nice because Id like to visit Birmingham one day so if I could combine that with an Arsenal game thats even better but its quite the trip from the Netherlands to London and then Birmingham so I think Ill skip this one

Now, as to getting tickets in the home-end of West Ham.....Im sure Ill really need to shut up there lol

The dullest football Ive ever seen us play is under Arteta.. but being there, supporting the team, surrounded by fellow Gooners. Thats the ultimate way of living Arsenal.

Even the shittiest games are lived very differently from within compared to watching it on the telly.

If money wasnt an issue, Id be there every game.. But alas, money IS an issue lol.

They are tough. Realistically, the best way you can is for a League Cup away or a European away to somewhere in Eastern Europe. Or even a Newcastle at 12pm. You sadly have to take any and every long haul you can to build up the points.

Hi all, after 11 years on this forum and over 20 years of supporting our beloved Arsenal I finally find myself in London and will be here for a couple of months.

I've seen the bloodbath for tickets on twitter and so my expectations in that regard are calculated, if I can get to attend just one fixture I'd be delighted

I wanted to ask where the best Arsenal pubs are? I've seen that Box Park is a popular one but I wanted to hear from some veterans on where to go to watch the matches?

Also, do GW members ever watch together? If so it would be great to link up, pints on me of course!

Do you have red membership ?

If so you can apply for a ticket via ballot and if unsuccessful look for a ticket on the ticket exchange.

Other than that you're confined to taking a risk on Twitter which I wouldn't recommend and may be harder this season anyway with the new Digital passes rather than physical cards.

Lots of pub options including: Faltering Fullback, World's End, Tollington. There is also the REDaction members bar in the Rocket (London Met Uni) which has cheap drinks / offers with pool but not much atmosphere
