Sorry haven't gone through the thread - what are people's thoughts on Sampaoli?

How would everyone feel about Benitez managing us?

He'll most likely be promoted with Newcastle but assuming Wenger leaves at the end of the season I'm sure he'd be tempted if we went in for him, not the best manager in for a league run howver we'd probably win more domestically than we do now.

Wouldn't be my first choice over the likes of Simone, Tuchel and Allgeri but he'd certainly be better than Howe and it would piss of Liverpool fans.

I'd love Benitez. Others will disagree, but he was a good tactical manager, who drilled the defence well.

all im interested in is Arsenal being winners again. caveat to that statement is that traditionally Arsenal have had class in who we are, what we do and how we do it, so for that reason, the arsewipe that is Mourinho is the only one I couldn't have. oh, and Pochettino cos he's soiled goods...on the other hand, yes lets have him.. cos it would send those wa*kers into meltdown

Benitez has a bigger chance of winning us the CL as Ranieri had of winning the league with Leicester. Ie, he's a proven manager who hasn't done well for a few years, but there's no reason he can't be successful with us. More importantly, better than Wenger

Would take him

Absolutely nothing to suggest Benitez would do any better than Wenger, his recent record is pretty shite and everything big he won was over 10 years ago just like our Frenchman.

Benitez is defensive, for at least one season, we'd get that perfect mix where we obliterate everyone
