Tbh I would be more on adding, Ozil isn't a fighter but he has his place.

I would get rid of per though because a cb should be a fighter.

Per, arteta, rosciky, Campbell can go.

Knew cb, cm/dm, winger and cf.

Don Simeone.

We ought to make him an offer he can't refuse.

Football has moved from idealism to pragmatism. Gone are the days of the Invincibles or Barca's treble-winners under Pep. You can't go out and "play" any more. Barca changed their style to win the Treble last season. And, that is an indication. You have suit the opposition. Simeone with this team and our resources would be the perfect appointment.

If not Simeone, then Pep.

Just imagine what Ozil's flair would do under Simeone's tenacious management, or even Ramsey's all-action game style. Simeone would go 4-4-1-1 with Ramsey and Coq in the middle, drill the defensive aspect into Ramsey, play Ozil behind Alexis. Theo goes to the right, or if we want to stack our midfield, he'd go 4-3-1-2. We need to change depending on the opponent. Wenger doesn't do that.

Last season's 4-1-4-1 would come handy in big away games. Coq stays back. Ram + Santi in the middle. Ozil out on the right and Alexis on the left. I don't see why Wenger doesn't accommodate the team game by game.

Backing Simeone, Atleti winning La Liga and reaching the CL Final is probably the biggest footballing achievement by a manager in the last decade or so - probs only matched by Mou with Porto in 2004. That was 11 years ago. Liverpool winning the CL under Rafa is another one.

I've seen Wenger park the bus a few times last season. Can't really say he doesn't make macrotactical changes depending on the opposition.

We would never would intentionally park the bus even away at the nou camp wenger would plan to be dominant. Sometimes like the city game you get pushed back and are made to defend, that day we did it well.

But generally speaking we aren't capable of parking the bus.

Which games do you have in mind?

Nah. Camp Nou in 2010/11 you tried to park the airplane after getting humilated 4-1 just a season before. Can't even blame you for that and it actually worked well until Cesc backheeled a clearance to Messi who went on to score the lead. Barcelona conceding a goal without a single shot on target from Arsenal speaks volumes about how much they attacked.

This "we tried to attack but got pushed back" argument works when you actually tried to attack in the beginning yet got caught out numerous times on the break, but it doesn't when a team tries to be narrow and compact from the get-go.

City is obviously the standout one. The games against Bayern & Barca for me isn't really parking the bus because we had nowhere the quality of them two and they literally penned us back for the entire game. We tried getting onto the ball but it was a near impossible mission. I believe even after the City game the players said they took responsibility and were a lot more cautious rather than Arsene instructing them to be.

CL's won:

Don Carlo : 3

Klopp: 0

Simeone: 0

Btw, Don Carlo has won more CL's than Guardiola, Ferguson and Mourinho and yet your reaction is 'screw Carlo'?

Maybe, we deserve all this crap because of fans like you.
