Any plausible explanation as to why he didn't start today?

Bellerin obviously more suited to him at LWB. Ox had to play so we could show him how much we value him, even if it means Every one connected to arsenal is embarrassed massively.

Anything to avoid signing more than 2 players in one window.

That still doesn't explain why a horribly out-of-form Bellerín should start out of position, ahead of a natural left back and superior defender like Kolasinac.

Have we signed him yet?

Could have used him instead of Ballerina today.

Buy a lwb, play him a cb, then drop him - if he fails it'll be Wenger's fault!

If he was in, Liverpool would have scored 1 or 2 less goals.

If Laca was in instead of the useless Welbeck, we could have scored 1 or 2 goals, especially with Kosa's contribution on offense.

We also needed Kosa's fight and tenacity.

Wenger could have made the game more even handed but the bonehead killed the team's chances even before it stepped on the pitch.

Kos was back so moved Monreal to LCB which is Sead's position now.

He seems a bit of a character. Wenger doesn't like characters. Can see it becoming a podolski situation.
