Worst player on the pitch today.
Guendozi made that error that led to the goal but he was 10x better than El Nenny. And I used to be okay with El Nenny. Dude was terrible today

........ 1 - nil to The Arsenal

Play like he wants to impress and get in the first team.

There's a French kid and a Swiss shitester ahead of him so he just needs to show a bit of form and he's in but he never does.

I actually like Elneny, but yeah, he was terrible tonight and in the EL. Very short on confidence, lack of games...

Anytime he's played well, he's still more often than not been dropped for the next game. He's a squad player who's never gonna break the first team and I wouldn't expect any more tbh.

No harm in keeping him imo, decent for a backup player.

People have a problem with Mo? Fantastic squad player, nothing to complain about.

Garbage player. We call players like him mediano d’appoggio, meaning those who can only offer support

Yet he was one of our best players at the end of last season, helped us not fall apart in fact.

Also support, since when is that a bad thing when he's a squad player? that's exactly what they're supposed to do, be there when we need them and do a job.

What's wrong with Elneny this season? He used to be all action with a great final ball.

Is it lack of game time?

This it's the fact that he's being partnered with Guendouzi and Ramsey everytime and being asked to play as the furthest one forward the three of them aren't very dynamic, if you put him alongside Xhaka in his actual CM position and an actual CAM like Ozil/Mkhi he'll perform fine.

Isn’t part of it that he hasn’t had consistent game time as well?

He's fine as a squad player to do a job in cup competitions against lesser teams so we can rest our first teamers.

Yeah that aswell wouldn't be suprised if he looks for a move somewhere else soon in search of first team football

Yep that's all he is unfortunately. I don't agree that he was one of our best players last season, for me he was symptomatic of Le Profs failings. Its all well and good being comfortable on the ball and making some nice passes, but if they don't go forward, then we won't score any goals. Seems like a nice bloke and works hard, but if we see him back in the first team, then we may as well pack up any ambitions right then.
