Xhaka, Guendouzi, Torreira, Willock and Ceballos are ahead of him in the pecking order. He doesn't even have a place in the squad.

On another note, Express saying that he might leave to Galatasaray in the 48 hours. Let's hope it's true

Galatasaray ended their interest as they got N'zonzi from Roma instead.

Fenerbahce interested according to other turkish reports.

Allegedly scheduled to make the trip to Instanbul tomorrow to complete a season-long loan transfer to Beşiktaş.

Besiktas have an option to buy for €18m. Would be really good business, if they triggered it.

€18m for Mo Elneny, wow. Can they even afford to pay that much for a player?

They have the right to offer lower if they want, its up to AFC if they accept.

£18m is a "Right to buy" i.e if AFC don't want to sell Besiktas can initiate the buy clause, I doubt they'll offer the full price unless he shines out there.

Doubt Besiktas activates the €18m option. Their record purchase was Rodrigo Tabata for €8m back in 2009, per transfermarkt. And iirc, they've had serious money problems recently, which casts further doubt on their ability to pay such a sum.

Officially gone on loan. We get €2,5m for the loan with a buy option of €18m. Very good business but as many of you stated very unlikely they will trigger the option.
