Already burned by Diaby and to a lesser degree Rosicky.

Here lies Jack Wilshere, gone but not forgotten

Remembered kindly for his performance against Barca and his drunken songs after our trophy drought ended

it's time to move on from jack. his injuries have mounted and he used goods, just like cazorla.

from a business standpoint it makes sense, but obviously wenger is dumb enough to have contract talks. it's diaby all over again.
cheers!

We need to stop being a charity. It sucks that injuries have halted Jack Wilshire but we need to be ruthless and let him go.

Even taking away his injuries Jack is nothing special anymore. I have not seen any reason to take him back to Arsenal after his Bournemouth spell, just because ge is English doesn't make him good.

One handful of good games for Arsenal years ago and people hold on to that past. Time to let go.

It's not anyone's best interest to keep him here, his last resort has to be to go to Italy, they seem to have great medical regimes as players tend to play until their very old out there, a slower more tactical game may also help him stay fit and improve as a footballer.

We should sell him incredibly cheap with a buyback clause.

It is in Jacks best interest. 4 year contract with 100k set him up for life even more. He is finished......But wenger decides. There is no one at the club who can question his decisions....like giving mertesacker new contract

The intriguing part is Wenger commenting on Arsenal's affairs during the upcoming summer. The CEO is staying. :P

There is no justification whatsoever for keeping him. A fit and contracted Wilshere is worth maybe £30M, so from as a purely financial angle you're gambling £5.2M a year plus other expenses to protect an asset that has a slim to nil chance of earning you a £25M profit

No.

Meanwhile he occupies a place in the squad ala Diaby

No.

A financial loss, a footballing loss, just cut the loss and move on.
