West Ham chairman David Gold has dismissed the prospect of signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The Hammers have been tipped to challenge for the England international, who spent last season on loan with Bournemouth.

But when quizzed about a potential bid, Gold insisted the club have enough midfielders.

He said: “We are interested in all good players but we have to face the facts here – we have got good midfielders.”

We will probably won't find a buyer and he'll stay as a squad option next year

Another one we can't get rid off the wage bill and with the new regulations about only being allowed to increase this by 7.5% if it's not covered by an increase in revenue these deadwood players we can't get rid of like Wilshere, Gibbs, Debuchy, Jenkinson etc are a real problem.

Not even bout quality.

Just the fact that mark noble is available almost every time as opposed to someone who's crocked all the time makes noble a far superior player

No one will pay his current wages on a long term contract and offer a decent fee bar maybe china which would be a big if if he wanted to move there.

Basically stuck with him for the season, not bothered him having one more chance, if he can get fit he could play cup games and we can monitor the situation from there.
