I think he also said that he doesn't fit in English football, which most people think is true.

He has the ability I think but not the inclination when he played for the team.

was given many chances and blew them. He just had one good season in Bundesliga and decent Europa league campaign.

Translates - "I'm not good enough"

Did Pogba or Ceballos, Auba, Cazorla etc and the list goes on turn sh*t just because they came to England?

Him saying he wasn't happy in England is because he was at top 4 teams that had players who he couldn't keep up with and got pushed out.

He's basically gone to a worse team with less competition so he can be a mediocre fish in a small pond.

No point in slating him now, he's off the books for this season. Give his spot to Ozil.

Wishing him the best at Roma; a good season there could lead to a permanent move, which would be best for all parties.

His goal - https://streamja.com/L7zK

A few more of these and who knows Roma might actually play him often enough, meaning they're obliged to buy him come the end of the season.

He looks a lot happier and settled in Rome.

Hopefully, come the end of the season, De Sanctis, Petrachi and co are also happy with him and make us a satisfactory offer.

Don’t really want him back but think with a decent manager he could be useful on the wings for us

Massive injury risk, already spent most of October on the sidelines because of it. Although he didn't do too badly last year, i would rather we buy a proper CM than bring back a 31yo who never adjusted to the PL after 3 years.

Armenia midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, 31, will return to Arsenal this summer from his loan spell at Roma unless the Gunners lower his £20m price tag. (Sun)

Shows talent in fits & starts but for the most part he’s not good enough.

He's not a bad player, better than a lot of what we have.

Could do a job at CAM.

If he fails this time though he must go, Roma balking at £20m is a bit of a p*ss take, Iwobi went for more.

He was dreadful for us, would never want him back, get rid for what you can get for him.

Think he's played 5 games for Roma, is 31 and frankly we just need to take what we can get, noone is going to pay 20 million for a guy who hasn't performed in years, is injury prone and 31 years of age.

Plus we need his 200k wages off the wage bill.
