People have got their heads turned by the fact that he performed decently as wing back for about a month. Firstly, that's not the position he wants to play, and secondly I don't see Wenger sticking with 343 for long. Sell him and get it over with. He never developed into the player we thought and like Theo he's not going to get any better.

Never scored more than 2 league goals in a season.

Certain defenders are more prolific.

Koscielny is literally more prolific

Ox has 9 in 129 for us
Kos has 17 in 213

Even Mustafi, ffs, 2 in 26 for us :rofll: :rofll: :rofll:

Rumour has it that Klopp reduced his 40 million pound bid by 40 million+ 1 extra pound after the game.

He's the very definition of kick and rush.

and yet hes not even that good at it...

said for ages he should just become a specialist in this as it's what his body and natural traits are suited to. he doesn't have the skill for much else.

Gary Cahill and Kolarov offer more going forward than Ox.

He made one brilliant pass for Ramsey

Rest of the time, I didn't even realise he was on the pitch

Next Gerrard tho.

It's Wenger's fault. He talked up Oxlade as someone similar to Gerrard with a future at CM. That's what happens when you praise mediocre English players to the sky. The man really believes it now.

I would honestly sell him if we're getting around 30 million. We can buy better cheaper.
