To be fair, getting caught offside isn't always the fault of the player who made the run.

If the runner makes a well-timed run in behind and the player in possession is guilty of dwelling on the ball too long before he gets his pass way, the guilt lies with the player in possession.

Not claiming Theo wasn't to blame for any of the offsides, just pointing out there are always two people involved, not one.

To be fair to Theo he has a point, our build up play is tiringly slow.

And it will only get slower with Wilshere in midfield. If Wilshere plays he must be played further forward - for the good of the football club. If you think our build up play is slow now ..... wait until Wilshere is orchestrating play.

Imagine trying to blame our midfield for Walcott being offside every time the ball is played to him. How come no one else has this problem?

9th on the All time list for English players

123 times offside. He has 65 goals in the PL and 43 assists. He's been offside more times than he's contributed to a goal ffs

1. Emmanuel Adebayor 328

LOL - I didn't need stats to know that one. He used to make us surrender possession every time he made a run, bloody idiot.

Perhaps but he was an outstanding forward in that 2007/2008 season. He scored so many quality goals. But...he was an idiot, sadly

He took responsibility and was on with pace against a Good Side in euro league.
Want to see him live against a top side

I've worked it out - this is mirror speak - responsibility means headless - good means bottom of the league - see him live means never start for us again ... now I get it
