Being a good shot stopper is only a fraction of the game. Especially so for Leno, who prefers to punch the ball back into play, or push the ball out for a corner instead of catch. We are shit at defending set pieces, so a save doesn't clear the danger.
We need to reduce the volume of shots that are getting through. That is the biggest improvement Emi brought; he told the defenders exactly where he needed them. When he played out from the back, I never had the heart palpitations I do when Leno does it.
