Eh, yes and no. There've been goals he should've saved, but he's also been the main thing stopping us from letting in 5+ goals a game during this relegation-tier run.

On current form I wouldn't trade him for any other starting keeper in the league.

De Gea has had a few bad games you think Utd would trade him, no way.

Leno kept that score down yesterday, I feel for him having that defense in front of him. Been a fantastic signing, I thought earlier in the season Torreira or Sokratis would have walked away with signing of the season for us but I think Leno has easily surpassed them in the last few months.

I clearly stated on current form.

Never did I say, nor suggest he's a better goalkeeper than DdG who, by the way, has had more than just 'a few bad games' this season.

Numerous of Premier League keepers have effortlessly eclipsed DdG's 2018-19 performances.

He was also by far the worst goalkeeper at the World Cup.

guardian re: DeGea..."In 2017-18, he did not commit a single error that led directly to a goal in the league; this season he has done so on four occasions. Only Asmir Begovic and Bernd Leno (both five) have been more error prone."

We should try to get Navas from Real. However, Juve will probably snap him up.

I'd be down with that... how many times he saved RM's bacon on their threepeat cannot be undervalued...

Nah. The 'errors leading to goal' statistic is a very weak statistic that isn't well defined and isn't objective in the slightest.

I'm not denying he's made errors. I'm just saying that using that statistic you quoted isn't a worthwhile way of criticizing.

Show videos all you want, no one will argue with those criticisms. That stat isn't worth mentioning though.

Goalkeeper's gloves signed by Bernd Leno are being auctioned off for charity - the entire proceeds will go straight to Österreichische Sporthilfe (Sports Aid Austria). For details, see https://www.unitedcharity.de/en/Auction ... Bernd-Leno
