Based on what? Human error that every keeper makes at some point?

Who is better than Leno that we can afford to splash cash on? Leno is better than Martinez imo

Saved us yesterday with a string of saves. West Ham should have given him no chance with a few though.

Another player who's not going to renew. At least Martinez has looked OK in the games he's played.

It's tragic how many world class performances he has put in for us without having a win (never mind a clean sheet) to show for it.

Get him a new contract.

No idea when current one finishes but I know our ineptness in contract issues.

Out for the rest of the year probably. Knowing our medical staff, probably all of next season.

Keeper needed

At half-time against City I was actually fearful of the second half, not so much for the inevitable onslaught to come courtesy of David Silva and KdB, but for the horrible feeling that either Auba, Saka, or Tierney was also going to come away with a broken leg or similar serious injury.

We have an injury record second to none that doesn't need any detailing on here, so when we go on an injury run we tend to do it with some aplomb and no half measures either.

That you had to go back and look at it again to figure out exactly what had happened following such a seemingly innocuous and routine challenge is what in itself screams typical Arsenal.

I do get why some fans have a genuine grievance towards Maupay, but I tend to veiw the outcome of the coming together as an accident, caused by his deliberate attempt to make Leno carry the ball out of his box illegally with the momentum which is why the injury occurred, and that's why it was a foul and fully deserving of a yellow card in my opinion, but then when was the last time anyone accused us of being unfairly favoured by a referee, any referee?

Probably Leno's last game for Arsenal.
Really good goal keeper - too good for a team of our level.

Is that 6 weeks for any normal medical staff or 6 weeks for Arsenal if it's the latter it must of only been a skin graze
