100% - massive mistake to let him go.

Now we’ll have to spend more than we got for Martinez for Leno upgrade, to upgrade on Martinez in this day and age will cost you 40M+ Villa got him way too cheap due to circumstances, we really played ourselves on this one.

Every decision Arsenal make is the wrong one.

All of it.

Willian, Ozil situation, Arteta, Vinai, Saliba, Martinez, Pepe (what we paid), you could even question Auba's massive contract because its given us an Ozil mkII situation, Super League.

That's not even all of it, add in under performing favourites and a poor style of possession for nothing football and we're in a right state.

20m for a keeper who barely played for us in 10 years was a great piece of business

20m for one fo the top 3 goalkeepers in league, while Chelsea have a 72m goalkeeper on the bench, great piece of business by villa, one of the main reasons they’re fighting relegation again this season.

He only played 9 premier league games last season. So you cant call him top 3 based on that.
For all we knew it was a purple patch. 9 games is barely anything.

It was a gamble imo, but it paid off for Villa.
Rest in Peace SE13 :(

I'm struggling to see who is a better keeper in the league than Emi whose name is not Ederson. Kepa flopped badly and is now Chelsea number 2, Allisson had those couple months where he was the worst keeper in the league, I have not seen anything special from the new bloke at Chelsea.

Cold do nothing for either goal but that save to stop it going 3-0 has put us right back in it

Leno is back after a brief loss of form

Never in doubt.

Shocker for the second goal - another horrible error.
But made some good saves too.
