God, I miss Emi. How can we sell a club player and keep this mediocre keeper instead =(

Emi has hardly been impressive after Xmas either but makes no sense letting him go if the keeper we keep is being let go after a season

Its his first full season in the Premier League and I think he is doing more than well. Look at where Villa are right now compared to before he was signed. Im not saying its all because of him but being a steady club starts from the back.

He’s in Carragher’s team of the season.

From what I read earlier, it's Leno himself who wants to leave. After this horrible season, it's not surprising.

The loss of Emi Martinez looks even worse in retrospect. He wanted the #1 spot and deserved it. Our defending was amazing when he was there to provide instructions to our CBs.

As soon as he left, our defenders' error rates went through the roof.

Whatever we do don't let that GK coach who signed Runarrson choose our next number 1.

Put it this way Emi would have got us a lot more points than our current standing, our defence was 100x stronger when he was between the sticks instead of Leno that is a fact.

Should look into PL for a replacement for Leno. How about Fraser Foster or Ramsdale? With Mat Ryan as #2?
