Just seen that save again

Didn't realise it was deflected. Makes it even better.

Cech days are over surely? Ospina continues to impress

Can't see us winning the competition with this clown in goal he's going to cost us the cup like he did the carabao cup.

Ah, c'mon, Mate. I don't think we could win that match even if we had Buffon instead of Ospina.

Couldn't agree more, mate.

He's costing us goals each time he plays. Cech isn't what he use to be but he's more reliable that Ospina. This season has shown that.

Wenger needs to bin this rotation policy off.

Milan fans are talking up about signing him as it looks likely that Donnarumma will be off now.

They have a fair bit of money so we should be able to get a decent figure.

We can quite easily replace him with someone younger. One of the worst goalkeepers in our history. Won't be missed.

All our keepers under Wenger have been shit besides Lehamnn, and Cech and Szczesny for one season.

Just look at the list -

Almunia
Fabianski
Mannone
Richard Wright
Martin Poom
Graham Stack
Stuart Taylor
Manninger
Martinez

Wenger's track record with keepers is truly abysmal.

Oh I completely agree.

Maybe a bit harsh to put Fabianski in that list though.

Some right wasters. Ospina is definitely up there with one of the worst.

Some of them were crap

But overall I don't agree. Fab, Sneezy, Almunia and Manone were all perfectly acceptable understudy goalkeepers

Poom was only ever brought in as third choice, and again, in that context, no problem. An experienced keeper there to do a job in an emergency situation.

Context.

The problem is when Wenger has tried to push these as first choice keepers, it hasn't worked and he's carried on regardless. Almunia being the worst example of this.

I've said before that back when Lukic was keeper his understudy never played. Almost never, ever played.

Backup goalkeepers are a bit of a non issue, as long as that's what they remain.

Did Poom ever play for us? Harsh to put him there

Almunia was pretty good for a year and a half then f**k knows what happened.

Manninger, i'll always remember the awesomeness when Seaman was injured in the double year. Never pushed on though.

Wright and Taylor got league medals along with Seaman in the 01/02 season. Only time 3 keepers have winners medals from the same season? This was back when you needed to play 10 games to get a medal.

Ospina is nowhere near that shit as anyone with a brain can see but agendas and butt hurtness comes to the fore.

The thing is these days there's no such think as a back up keeper anymore.

Most clubs do what we do. Play a goalkeeper for the league games and then a goalkeeper for other competitions.

Obviously Cech is coming to the end of his career now. He's had a fantastic career but he should no longer be number 1 for us after this season.

Ospina is just Ospina. Has a couple of costly errors in him every game and is overall just pretty shit. He's a liability and his shakiness doesn't help whatever defence is infront of him at all as he's shown many of times of the years.

We need to bring in two goalkeepers this summer.

It's fashionable to have a cup keeper but unnecessary and still ultimately down to the manager. Goalkeepers don't get fatigued, they can play every game unless injured.

Poom played in 2 games in the 06/07 season
The league cup win at Everton 1-0 when he came on at half time after almunia got a kick
And the 0-0 at Portsmouth on the last day of the season
