Wenger has taken it to the next level.

You need to ask ''I need to know how Welbeck starts ahead of Giroud and Lacazette''

1 game, get a grip

Against Liverpool away.

Welbeck should never be starting ahead of either, let alone against a top 4 team.

He is a walking shit stain.

Doesn't KG3 rate Welbeck?

Only person in the world who does?

Impressive

Got to respect that

Imagine having Laca and Giroud available and instead starting a Fail like Welbeck at CF in a Liverpool away game lol...

Yeah, Wenger did that.

We were all witnesses.

LOL.

So not even Giroud wants to be here?

Tbf though I don't question his commitment, maybe he just felt it was time to move on after we signed Lacazette.

I bet Lacazette doesn't top 24 goals this season. Giroud easily the most underrated player of the banter era.
Jonathan Pearce - "Regarding any new transfers you are not going to give me a clue are you?"
Arsene Wenger - "I cannot give you what i don't have"

Let's keep it in context though.

In Giroud's first season, he scored 17 goals total, only 11 in the league (in 34 appearances).

He scored 24 goals in his fourth season with us, in 54 appearances. He scored 16 league goals in 38 games - which means he played in every league game that season.

16 in 38 as Arsenal's number 1 striker is not very good.

Giroud has been brilliant since last season, but let's not rewrite history and hold Lacazette to false standards.

Also, starting Welbeck ahead of him or playing him on the wings won't help Lacazette's numbers.

Well, not many can if Wenger keeps stating Welbeck.

I rate Giroud but Laca has made a good start. He has already had a couple of legit goals disallowed unfairly.

Great game. Very good Link up play and important in defense too. Lacazette better perform otherwise he will see the bench or wing but so far he has done well

That's not even in question, Giroud is only better at one thing and that's headers.

Shooting, mobility, effective near and far from goal etc etc etc

Lacazette would of scored easily today.

Giroud was ok by his standards but not being more involved and not scoring is not a great look against Koln.

Before people say "He had no service" that in there lies the problem, without being spoon fed he is useless, Lacazette can come and get the ball to get involved, Giroud's has to be glued to the goal line due to lack of pace.

Tbf though glad to have them both but Giroud needs to be super sub.
