Got no proper service today. Which is ridiculous considering we have Xhaka who can play long balls and Monreal and Niles who cross well. I don't understand why we start him and then try to just pass our way through.

he does not need to be the ABSOLUTE focal pt of the attack. midfielders must contribute.
fb's must use the flanks.

Thought he actually did well enough today given the lack of play to him especially first half, got going more in the second but our attacking build up was so f***ing slow and laboured bar that 3 mins that not really much happened. Seems to link well with Perez.

Wish our other players had more fight like him as well, Iwobi showed a bit when he threw himself into that Ben Pearson t***er.

Agreed. And as much as I hate to see him with the armband I thought he was decent as a captain today

Pearson is the kind of kid that would get his face smashed in non professional football.

He's scoring but destroys our play.

Bench the guy who is scoring the majority of the goals justcos he is scoring them towards the end of the game. Great logic

Blatantly. I legit had a vision of backhanding him off the pitch when he went in to the back of rambo the second time. What a little prick.

He digs deep for the win, unlike some more higher profile players who think their shit don't stink.

Give the man his due but let's not hype him into something he's not.

Thats true. But for me i like the fact he battles. Last season i didnt think he had anything to do in Arsenal. And quite frankly i thought he was done with when Alexis worked up front. But Giroud has been taking his chances and unlike last few seasons he doesnt burn great chances but finish them. And on top of that also scores some not so obvious chances to.

Alot of players would have gone to the press and whined in Girouds shoes due to lack of playing time. But he kept his head down and showed alot of us wrong. I really like that about him.

Funny that, since 3 of his last 4 goals were assisted by Xhaka, Alexis and Ozil, our 3 most expensive players ever.

Lucas assisted last night but you can hardly blame Ozil and Alexis for being invisible init
