He did get an assist. Thats was all Lacazette, none of his corners really did much.

He needs to be thrown out the club January 1st, no questions asked.

The fact all the chances we made where Luiz and Xhaka hoofing the ball forward or passing it to Pepe and hoping shows how useless and ineffective a player he is. Players don't even trust him. he just passes it as soon as he gets it, even to the referee!

Just f**k off Ozil!

Your obsession of Ozil is unreal.

Ange, i love you as a poster, i really do, i like that film in you avatar even. that guy is a great filmmaker and i look forward to enjoying more of his work.

But i cannot stand Mesut Ozil, i cannot stand him! He clearly only cares about himself and his wages and is a huge reason why we are dead as a club right now.

I say it now and forever until he leaves. that 350k freed up in January will enable us to buy real quality. Watch, buy Harit from Schalke! Or buy any number of good real playmakers out there and this team can maybe win the Europa!

No big club will touch him, this is the issue so i just pray a MLS club goes big for him, or maybe we could do something with China or Turkey.

350k a week for a guy who's only a threat at corners against relegation fodder teams sums up the circus Arsenal football club has become. You think any serious team would keep a guy like him with 0 goals and 2 assists by early December?

Elkopubber, Ozil is here for next two years, its is of no consequence crying over spilt milk. He has been awarded a contract and it is best for everyone at AFC to make the whole thing work.
It is not only Ozil's contract , which is the problem, someone threw out 72mil out of the window, and that's a bigger problem.
And as you keep saying that players are s___t on and on, then how come we made almost top 4 six months ago, w/the joint highest scorer in PL? Also, made it to the EL finals? Beginning of this season, every body was buoyed up w/ the great recruitment process and had high hopes for challenging the title. It is a mental issues that is pulling out team down at the moment, hence, it is imperative to put the heads down and ride this crisis. Not everything is fundamentally wrong.
Besides, mistakes in recruitment, contract issues happen everywhere; look at ManU ( Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku), ManCity ( Tevez, Ballotali) and many others.
Ups and downs, go with the flow. Things will settle down.

- It's lead to Ramsey leaving on a free!

- Other attacking mids being sold and loaned in Iwobi & miki!

- Lack of investment in key areas in our midfield which are clearly substandard since this circus of a board refuse to take risks which could lead to them losing out precious profits.

- No players including Ozil good enough to create for two real elite level strikers.

ITS NOT f***ing WORKING! It been a DISASTER!

Get him out! That is the way to make it work, tell him to f**k off, he's off January 1st, start the rebuild as soon as possible with a proper attacking mid!

It is not only Ozil's contract , which is the problem, someone threw out 72mil out of the window, and that's a bigger problem.

I think 350k a week for 0 goals, 1 assist this season and we are in December is a bigger problem. No other top 6 club would stand for that! No other team in world football bar the money leagues is USA or China would stand for that!

Sell him and it opens up finances to replace him with any number of better attacking mids in January. The league is gone, its the Europa which we have a lifeline in and as we saw last year vs Chelsea Ozil is not good enough to make a difference if we do well in that competition.

And as you keep saying that players are s___t on and on, then how come we made almost top 4 six months ago, w/the joint highest scorer in PL? Also, made it to the EL finals?

Diamond Gooner, as you can see, this is why i can only laugh at my new internet meme name because as i replied, its quite funny because its as retarded as the guy who came up with it.

- NO RAMSEY!

- NO MIKI!

- NO IWOBI!

- NO CREATIVITY!

- EVEN LESS OF A DEFENCE THAN BEFORE!

and....

- NO QUALITY MIDFIELDERS AT ALL!!! WHATSOEVER!!!!!

Yes! Maybe i'm being clear, a whole lot has changed over the summer and all of it apart form our lovely kit has been for the worse! We are 5 points off relegation and we have just been outplayed and soundly beaten by a relegation candidate in Brighton who have a horrific away record in general. Oh year Ozil played CENTRAL ATTACKING MIDFIELD in that team in the second half, really showed his majestic skills in open play yesterday! Still yet to get an assist from open play at all this season!

We have City, Chelsea and United along with some tough away games in the next 7! Again, we can't even beat Southampton and Brighton at home. City is next week, get ready for our team be abused and indecently violated. You think morale is bad now, City put 6,7,8,9 past us and watch what happens after!

Beginning of this season, every body was buoyed up w/ the great recruitment process and had high hopes for challenging the title.

That's your fault for being foolish enough to getting carried away with the hype, i didn't i gave it a 7/10, well that was until we sold Iwobi and loaned Miki, both asinine stupid decisions so after it all settled down it was a 2/10, the summer was disjointed, desperate and ended up being dreadful for us.

Then again if we sold Ozil like Emery wanted and brought Ziyech or again, any competent attacking mid we would not be in this mess because i'm sure that player would have done, much, much more than the pitiful crap we have seen from Ozil.

Problem is you try shifting a overpaid, overrated has been off a huge contract we wont get anywhere else!

I suppose we should also start singing kubayah my lord, and ask Wenger for his favorite enya selection to recreate that 'cohesion' needed for a total rookie manager who's out of his depth to someone by magic make this poor squad start winning again.

Or maybe we wake up, smell the poorly made fancy instant Italian coffee, open the blinds, take in that vitamin D and realize this league season is already well over, we are in for most likely the very worst month in our history for a very, very long time and understand, nothing is working and players like Ozil must go, we need a full scale clear-out of old, past it defenders and the midfield needs to be completely rebuilt especially.

Ozil shouldn’t be playing anyways. We haven’t won since he came back to the team. He offers nothing anymore but his fanboys will still say ‘hE gOt aN aSsIsT’ even though it was just an average corner that laca made the most of

Let’s get with the programme. It’s 2020 in 3 weeks. He’s done. Retire the man to MLS already.

Even with our team playing like shit, players like Aubameyang (31yo) will likely get offers from Barca or Real.

Ozil, also 31, and player whose career assists are second only to Messi, has no suitors at all.

For our most decorated player, he has zero winning spirit. He's our longest-serving player and frequently goes hiding when results don't go our way.

That attitude now permeates the entire team, with the exception of the young guys (Martinelli, Guendo, Willock) who still try to make things happen because the rot hasn't set in 100% with them yet.

We haven't won since he came back into the team?!

That's your reasoning for him to not play? We hadn't won for 6 games prior, you think one player playing the same tried and failed system and tactics will make a difference?

The problem is though Ozil is the sort of player for a Man City or Barca set up.

You know, good players making good runs, teams that can pass etc and hold possession.

Against Brighton we had long spells of not being able to hold the ball.

The state of the team is disjointed, a player like Ozil isn't going to thrive in that sort of environment.

We need the Leicester set up, aggressive, rough and tough with top strikers, Auba could easily be our Vardy in that type of formation.

But the real problem is the rest of our players, so many of them need to fk off its unreal, we're in more trouble than we ever thought.

Liam Brady Just called him out.

Said Ozil has No heart no passion & massively overpaid

Liam Brady was absolutely bang on the money - a true Arsenal man and absolute baller. Ozil is dialling in nothing performances week in and week out. The team haven’t exactly improved since his recall. He’s a phoney - coining it in whilst tossing it off.

Brady 100% spot on. We will see no success untill the toxicity is taken out of that changing room. If that includes Özil (which it clearly does) then he’s got to go.

Was one of the only guys actually looking for the ball vs Brighton. Guy next to me was slating him saying he’s lazy, 1 min later ozil picks up the ball, lays it off, runs into space and gets it given back, gives it off, runs into space and gets it given back before dropping it off again.

Literally the only one who can keep the ball moving and get into space, otherwise it’s just willock or guendouzi aimlessly running with the ball. People will never see it though they just want 10 long distance runners.
