Ozil and Kola were victims of an attempted crime, same thing happened 618,000 times in 2015, how many of those victims got a month's paid leave? How many get round the clock protection? no idea but probably less than 1% ...

Let's face it Ozil and Kola could be moved to a secret luxury location within a few hours, these guys are millionaires backed by billionaire bosses, what's stopping that? and the whole "standing up to criminals" not a chance no sane puts their family in harms way

The whole thing is just odd, opportunist scooter thieves do not chase victims for miles, it defeats the whole grab-and-go philosophy. Private security do not stand guard outside the homes of simple street crime victims, and mouthy people do not get arrested for rowing with security staff outside a private residence.

There is clearly far more to this than we are being told, sure that's wild speculation, but something just doesn't smell right.

Might be Turkish gangsters demanding protection money.

Even me with not a crazy big house and security at my home would NOT pack my things and stay at a hotel for a few days. This would send wrong signs for the criminals.

I would stay with my family protect them and my house. This shows strengh. Don‘t let others control over your life. Not playing is terrible enough.

yeah but tbf you are a nobody so you wouldn't be targeted with kidnapping and extortion like famous rich people would. most break ins these days are organized gangs hitting multiple homes in a night to swipe portable high value items like laptops and jewellery. the last thing they want is the hassle of taking somebody hostage when the chances of a big ransom are tiny.

From the names of criminals, it seems they're Turkish. Could be political, given Ozil's connections with Turkish bigwigs.

Which seems the most rational option, that's what every other celebrity or VIP does when they're under threat.

Diamond being on Mandela security detail that is of the highest level of security to work.not an easy job alot of planning and communication involved at all times, what was your back ground before security? Mine was obviously from the underground/mc via clubs gain the reputation go from there HBU I am picking military

We were just the crowd security, bog standard, I was young and was just doing the gig short term.
The detail I'm talking about were his body guards who were packing heat under their jackets, South African Nationals who came with him in the car escort, they were obviously guarding him while we were security around the parameter of his podium along with the police.

My background was army basic training, martial arts and boxing, I'd also done a bit of door work, nothing high level, Security as a career wasn't what I was aiming for.

Well now they've been identified they need to watch it, one phone call from someone on Erdogans staff to a local London Turkish Mafia boss and they could get scratched.

Ozil is Erdogans buddy, I doub't he'll take kindly to this.

We are going to have a massive problem creating chances without Ozil as seen today.

Someone was saying in the facebook arsenal fans forum that Ozil is in deep shit for illegal betting and that Kolas wife is so scared that shes fled england to germany and refusing to come back and that both are to be sold this window.

The guy whos regular on that group said he has insider mates, i'm not sure if this is true or not though.

He will be back, but if Ceballos does not work out, we will be stuck w/Xakha, and that is not good news.
