Exactly, whole team plays shit, lets blame the highest paid player.

He actually wasn't as bad as others.

Yes, because as has been stated dozens of times, Ozil needs a support network to play well. when those around him are shit - Ozil is shit. When those around him are good, Ozil is exceptional.

You are going on like this is breaking news.

I’m a huge Mesut supporter and I would have fined everyone outside of Laca and Leno if I was the manager. Almost the entire team was garbage. So how about everyone is attacked and not just a player you personally dislike.

i like ozil. I am just often disappointed in his vanishing acts. "attack"??

I suppose David Squires is an ozil hater as well.

and I been saying all year the roster needsa massive overhaul; cos we are decidedly a 2nd tier team.

and btw, a vote a resounding YES to harp on the highest paid player when they are not living up to their pay.

People railing on Ozil are stupid. When you play three CBs and two DMs you’re going to struggle to get the ball out of your own half. Ozil had to drop too far back to get on the ball which rendered him ineffictive against Everton. This was another selection failure from Senor Etxegoien.

Ozil is not the reason our side isn’t as good as it should be. He didn’t sign off on his own wage packet. He didn’t sign sub par players for close to a decade. And, he isn’t the reason that we’ve been cheap with signings for most of that decade. He is spotty in his performances, no one is arguing that. But if people blame him for the entire side shitting the bed, they’re missing what’s actually wrong, and what will probably continue to be wrong for a few more years.

Maybe Emery somehow changes that a bit. We’ll see next window.

so messi can drop deep to get on the ball when his team needs it but thats too much for ozil. eff that ish.

when your so called BEST PLAYER vanishes regularly then he should get heat.
you expect more from your best players.

i also expect to get the eff rid of the lower quality players to upgrade the squad as a whole.
the list is pretty long.

Cracks me up how often I see people here lay into the developing players for inconsistent performances but the guy that is supposedly our best player and the best AM in the world is the one that needs more support to be effective.

Someone break out the cheeky backheel videos and basic through balls that don't lead to goals cause that's what counts around here, right?
