Ozil needs to clear his head and leave this WC behind. He could have a great partnership w/ Lucas Torreira, if the deal goes through. Pretty skilled and perky midfielder, from what we saw against Portugal in the WC.

There is always excuse for ozil...our fans always look for the worst performer and say well he was worse than ozil. We are fvcked and stuck with this guy. Who actually came in for him when we desperately offered 300k for him? Not one big club was interested

Lol what exactly has Ozil done now? He’s been selected for every single German NT game since 2012 bar one during which time they’ve won a WC so his national team seems to think he’s doing alright.

The excuse is he played well. How many clear cut chances did he need to create not to get stick? If Hummels buries that simple header Germany are through and Ozil is suddenly Motm for unlocking the defense with his pass.

Also tabloids (which were proven time and time again to not know anything) were too busy making up rumours surrounding Sanchez at that time but i'm pretty sure there were ones about Ozil to PSG/Bayern.

for me, it looked like he played well in the last game. he was as tepid as everyone else in teh mexico game.

for me HERE's the big thing. its always his pass his pass his pass... can never be counted on to come through when the team are struggling and SCORE the goal that tilts the game.

that said i am eagerly awaiting to see how he combines with his new mates for AFC.

but he's just not a massive goal scorer and never has been, anyone who's watched him knows that and I don't know what they expect to suddenly change.

He's the artist and clearly he prefers the pass over a shot because he think it's higher chance of resulting in a goal, sometimes he should shoot more but he's never gonna be a goalscoring AM. 10 goals a season would be great from him.

The state of the Germans if the divide is true. Not only does that have racist undertones but it's very bad at a political level.

Muller and Kroos can have as many bad games but hey - let's find scapegoats.

Astonishingly, they don't seem to have the talent pool to replace the likes of Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Mertesacker, Klose, and Podolski. All of them broke in and around the same time and were part of Germany's golden generation in 2006.

Precisely what happens when you rely on overrated players like Kroos and Muller, and the likes of Mr Smug Face CAM-GK, Boateng, Khedira, etc. Too bad, Xavi didn't turn out to be Xavi for them. Tsk, tsk. Masked by Schweinsteiger and Modric. When it came down to him, well bloody hell.

It's useless to think that Ozil will provide in that leadership department. He did his job. Created most chances. Laid it on the plate. Meh.

Germans blame ozil and gundogan just because they have met erdogan, lol. This is very racist approach. Ozil has done a lot better than reus and muller. They should blame their overall careless attitude. Even in the final 10 mins of korea game, hummels were just walking with the ball at their own half.

Ozil should be the player who we build our squad upon

to not critique teutonic mofos who laid eggs is lame.

that said. its not like ozil was this mighty engine for them. he was a nice piece among other nice pieces.

as for me thinking whether we should build around him, dont matter- that horse done left the barn. he gonna be in teh middle of everything for a couple few years more. we'll see.

germans miss Klose. doesnt get the love he deserves.

He has been dog shit for a while now.

Was atrocious in the Euros and once again in the WC.

But you wont hear much talk about it from the German fans or the press.

It’s really insane.

After the game googled his name to expect a ton of articles criticizing him, and nothing but Ozil with some Khedira.

And did you notice, every headline for the German Failure to progress further showed Ozil's face. What a bunch of W****rs the media are.

Supporters who have purchased an ‘Ozil 11’ printed 2018/19 season shirt from Arsenal Direct will be contacted and sent a replacement ‘Ozil 10’ shirt of the same size and type (home or away).

Supporters who have purchased a shirt from our official stores should back to the store with proof of purchase for a replacement shirt, as above.
