Ramsey was high up the pitch. Xhaka was misplacing passes right, left, center. Ozil was the sole reason we looked threatening. He created around 4 chances for Welbeck alone. It wasn't Ozil's best game, yes. But he was our sole creative force yesterday.

There's alot of excuses here. The guy missplaced a 5 yard pass infront of ozil WITH HIS FAVOURED FOOTl.Whilst half the team was transistioning getiting into advance positions for ozils passing option.Yet your sitting here blaiming other players but xhaka. The same xhaka who misplaced passes against leicester the game before.

He had plenty passing options he went on doing silly long balls ,missing 5 yard passes.Nobody needed to come close to him as stoke sat deep and didnt press giving him plenty of time on the ball. There's no need to come deep in our own half or halfway line against teams sitting deep.Otherwise they just make solid banks of 4-5. with no breaks in their defence. lines I already know most of you dont play the game and just talk shit. With love of what looks nice on the eye instead of effectiveness. But this nonsense in here is getting out of hand.

3 cbs,2 wingbacks ,2 ams in centre ,Talking about no passing options. In a game were opta has us with the most possesion in a match in since 03-04. How you post such shit like this.

Stoke defended well. 5 at the back ,butland making saves. We were not great in attack, didnt take our chances and were'nt lethal.Xhaka caused a turnover which led to a goal.Stoke defend even more and we lost end off. All the possesion still lose 1-0. Cruel game.

Ozil was not great. He applied himself too late in the game. He looks unfit even though he had a preseason. Its like he's having his preseason run out now and is getting into fitness. The guys good but this is a consistent thing with half assed performances.People gonna have to accept reality. He's not a lead player you have to stop putting him those responsibilities, he's not clutch. He aint that guy he runs away from such responsibility he hides ffs. He's looks great when the teams great.Thats how it is with him. He litterally only plays well when the team is.He needs too many perfect conditions. You guys have to stop expecting him to grind it out.

Ozils aint got enough fight which is probably why gerrard is on his case. Its all true though. You just aint gonna see ozil doing the dirt like many of our other players. That lack of application irrates people. Especially people that play the game.Nobody wants to play with luxury players that dont play hard. 9/10 pros would rather play with sanchez than ozil cause they no sanchez will go hard.

This guy is demanding 200K + like really, really!!! Need to review what your asking for.

No evidence he's asking for anything, papers lie and article writers make things up off the top of their heads.

Realtalk, you are not the only football "expert", let me tell you. For anyone to say Ozil lacks fight or is only good when the going is good does not understand the dynamic of football and footballers in general. If you have played football to any decent level you will know that there are all sorts of players out there, you have the mercurial but quiet types (Ozil), you have the mad dogs (Keown), you have your cultured but can get stuck in types (Rio Ferdinand) and others. You have your leaders on the pitch and you have those that don't need to be gee'd up and you have those that do. All fundamentally different players. A player does not need to have all of the attributes, they just need to be good at what they do, its down to the manager to provide a cohesive team/unit.

ANY talk of Ozil being lazy is bullcrap as his running distance stats prove. No Ozil doesn't tackle much, yes Ozil has a languid playing style, but thats just him, he has always been like that and rose to the top of the game playing like that. He was able to rise to the top because for the German national team and for Real Madrid he had players around him to support him - thats how you get the best out of Ozil. Ozil is not meant to get stuck in and be a reliable body to oppose other teams, he is not supposed to track back, Ozil is soley offensive and needs support around him. He comes deep if he cannot get the ball and cannot get involved. Our central midfield was non-existent so he had no choice but to drop deep to try to create.

Anyone that has played football knows how it is, you have a player that is head and shoulders better than the rest you all work your butts off to allow him to express himself because he can produce that moment of magic nobody else in the team can. He is not a leader. He will not get stuck in, but he is one of the best players in the world at what he does but he does not have the support mechanism around him at Arsenal to prosper, its as simple as that.

Anyone that says we should get rid of him does not know what the hell they are talking about. You don't put a Ferrari on a rally cross circuit !

5 years at Arsenal, done fck all, soon hitting 29 years of age and still excuses all around..

1. It used to be Giroud's fault for about 2 years.

2. Then they promised once road runners Walcott, The Ox and Welbeck were all fit he would shine. They all came back and they were labelled as shit for Ozil.

3. OMG, the Sanchez signing will show you Ozil critics how amazing and world class Ozil is.. But 4 years later some ozil fan boys are blaming sanchez not letting Ozil be the creator. Sanchez is bad for Ozil because he is too over powering and wants to do everything..

4. Cazorla is making Ozil's job harder, Santi getting injured might be a blessing in disguise. lol

5. Wenger playing Ozil on the wings is the reason Ozil is not shinning, play the best No10 and our best player in his best position and he will shine..

6. "Ozil went from playing with the likes of Ronaldo to playing with Ramsey / Giroud" etc.. But when those players had their best individual season the Ozil fan boys contributed all of it to Ozil.. lol

7." Ozil needs a better striker. Lacazette will show us how Ozil is world class. ". Now we have lacazette and has Ozil even made a single pass to him yet? lol

8 . "We need to change the whole formation blah blah". We have changed formation after formation for 4 years but we are still waiting for Ozil to show up..

9. "Ozil deserves better than Arsenal. Pay him whatever he wants or the bigger clubs he so deserves will take him blah blah.".... He has only got 1 year left on his contract but how come no big clubs that he so deserves are breaking any sweat to sign him?

And so many other catchphrases / talking points we have from his fan boys for the last 4 years.. Where do these excuses stop and Ozil takes some responsibility..

Reminds me of the TRUMP CORE BASE... Trump is like a messiah, never wrong, always right and everyone else is deep state that hate and want to discredit / illegitimatize him. It's never his fault but the media and others non patriotic Americans that don't care for the country.. lol

Ozil has got to show this season that he is worth £250,000 a week and that all the hype of him being world class is not just delusional. He did well the last 5 or so games of last season. But started this season like he was all last season.. He is 29 years old, wake up, he is not getting any younger, when is he going to prove some of us his critics wrong?

Going the same way as Torres for Chelsea.. Hype and hype until they had to asses him from a rational unbiased point of view.

Come on, so frustrating..

Averaged 3 key passes per game last year which is more than KDB. Weird how KDB had more assists.. might have to do with finishing.

This point I don't get.. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? A top, better or world class player will always stand out in a group of average players.. Isn't it? Isn't this how big clubs or any other team finds players? You go to Brazil and pick up the stand out players in those leagues.Go to East Europe and pick up the stand out players in those average teams. Go to France and pick up stand out players from those average clubs. Go to the smaller clubs around Europe and pick up their best / stand out players? etc..

If our team is so poor and average then how come Ozil never stands out but Sanchez does? You guys are deluded. How come no big club is breaking any sweat to sign a world class Ozil who has 1 year left on his contract? There must be something stopping them. They are prepared from £40 - £200 million for any player, but it seems like they don't know that there is a world class player called Ozil with 1 year left on his contract at Arsenal???

Cesc, RVP, Nasri, Adebayor, Henry, etc all stood out and were snatched from us..

Explain how a top player in an average team never stands out?

Ozil came in with the best No10 in the world over hype, Assist master. Then when he got in the EPL where things need more than just sweet words, it went from Assist king to Chances created king. Then went to "He is the best space finder for his team, he finds spaces.". Then we went to the whole team and club are average and Ozil is too big for the team and club.. lol

How can you be too big for the club when you have done fck all since being here? This is the over hype that gets on my nerves, the whole team is a joke while some are just becoming partisan fan boys / girls when it comes to holding these little sissy players to their salaries. Excuse after excuse.

KDB and OZIL , who would get you £70 million plus in the market? It means that football is more than chances created / assists.. You gotta have more than 1 aspect to your game..
