Are we sure he is even leaving? I only ask because people who know him say he is much more focused on international trophies than leauge ones and he only wants to live in certain cities.

Bannable offense tbh.

Oh come on, we can never ever depend on him like we do on Sanchez.

Its because you are trying to compare 2 different players. Sanchez will catch the eye because of his playing style but when you look at Ozil's numbers they are not at the high level Ozil sets for himself but they are on a par with others and better than most.

Don't feel I can make a sound judgement on any of our players anymore because the water is muddied by the manager being such a complete w***er. Can't make up my mind whether they're overrated, under rated, good, bad or average while they are under silly bollox tutilage

The entire shame of all this is that with a competent manager the alexis and ozil partnership would have probably brought us at least one if not two premier league titles.

I know hindsight is 20/20 but madridnand bale are in their 3rd cl winning 2 since ozils and higgys departure. I hope juve win and think they can.

Losing ozil wont be as catastrophic as losing alexis.

I think you'd be shocked. Without Ozil our midfield looks supppper ordinary.

I get where you're coming from, I'm sure at least half our squad would look like world beaters under someone like Allegri.

I think Ozil is kind of a flat track bully, but more from a pressure perspective than a quality one. He's the sort of player you can win the league with, but not the Champions League - as Real Madrid seem to have proven, as you suggest.
