Even the worst pundits didnt do that yesterday.

wow

Ignore him he's an Ozil troll.

His arguments are desperate and unfounded.

Ozil was one of our better players yesterday.

Alriiiiight !

I'll be proved right as soon as we get his replacement.

while i didnt see the game and i trust the input i rec'd here that ozil played well...

one glaring hole in his game is he is
NEVER EVER EVER gonna score a goal when you absolutely desperately need one.

and there are no highlights of him breaking down the D and serving one up on a platter only to have the person bottle it either...

I’m going to be honest and say that there’s no point in giving Ozil a new contract; that is unless Wenger is serious about strengthening the center midfield and the defense as well as keeping Sanchez or replacing him with someone that will play well with Ozil up front. As we are now, it will be the same story over and over again if Ozil signs a new deal. i.e. Ozil offers nothing, its like playing with 10 men with Ozil, Ozil needs to show more grit, etc.
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

You are right but are we supposed to give up on having a good team, Wenger has the money, looks like he's getting Nzonzi and a possible Lemar or other top winger bid so hopefully we're headed more in that direction.

If he sells Ozil that is a blatant sign he's moving to field an average team which is no good for us or the club.

Welcome to Arsenal - where a star player, one of best in the world, is blamed for the team's failure over the manager.

It is a legite concern though, is it healthy he stays just for money, I can easy see him getting a new contract and becoming to relaxed.

If he wants to stay he is basically saying look I won the world cup, played for the biggest club in the world, living in London on massive money, basically he doesn't care if he wins another trophy, sure he wants to win but it isn't the be and end all.

Guys like mahrez, fekir, lacazette just a few examples are or were operating at a lower level than arsenal so the same can't be said about them wanting to play for us.

Death is the only thing that would seal his fate.

As long as he's alive he'll decide when he leaves.

He won't survive two years without a major title.
Extending Özil's contract with such a salary pretty much confirms we aint winning sh*t anytime soon.

Good night Arsenal :disgust:
