Dunno why anyone thinks he will go anywhere, he’s not high stock atm and on 350k. Man will be here til the end of his deal.

Let’s make the most of him. Free role with two mobile CMs behind him and runners coming in off the flanks to feed off his service. Assists galore.

Fenerbahce release statement saying they cannot afford Ozil and have not contacted the player.

We have an £18m millstone around our necks thanks to Gaz and Wenger. Although I suppose they couldn't have known that he'd put all the money towards perfecting his cloak of invisibility.

2 years left on his deal. We need to accept that he won't be gone and that we need to get the best out of him. Just play him at home against lesser opponents and make the best out of the situation.

If the club want to get the best out of him, they should let him run the Arsenal Instagram account.

350k to play in the league cup? Nope. At this stage wed make more money mutually terminating his contract and letting him go on a free.

350k x 104 weeks = 36m

Ozil becomes a free agent, gets a massive signing bonus and wages at whoever picks him up.

Kronke avoids spending a penny.

The league has 15 lesser opponents who we play 30 times a season for 90 possible points. under no circumstances should Ozil get game time there on the off chance that he can put together a vanity show a la Ludgorets 2016.

CL was lost due to dropping points against the lessers all season.

Play him against Top 4, at least there we can only drop a maximum of 24 points.

Precisely why I want Ozil to leave.

Any dropped points and this thread will get bumped until eternity. He's be the shield again. The narrative in the media and amongst Arsenal fans will be about Ozil and those wages.

The blame will be deflected away from the people who deserve to be blamed.

I'd take a summer of no more signings if it meant Ozil left. If he stays, another season of drama will surround Arsenal, with Ozil at the forefront.

We're soon becoming the soap opera club.

Is that the best we can expect? Fenerbahçe will take Ozil on loan but only pay 100k a week of his 350k salary ... so we would pay 12m next season to have him not play for us? .... might as well pay the 18m and have him as a back-up

Only if his mate in Turkey steps in will he go there, he is a has been now, people can see what return they will get for their money and are not stupid enough to bid for him and why should they. He is our white elephant.

Its the classic situation when a player is simply better than the players around him and on a different wavelength. No player in the Arsenal squad has come close to playing at the level Ozil has played at for a decade. He may not be at that level now but he is still head and shoulders better than most. The problem is consistency, how do we get the most out of Ozil? How do we make him more consistent.

Ozil is missing a Cazorla type player, with the technical ability and vision that is superior to most.

WAS ... the word missing from your assessment is was, now he's on a level with Xhaka, Kola, Iwobi ... at least that's what all of last seasons statistics say (apart from the ethereal chances created from which nothing happened) but let's stay with goals and assists.
