A lot of people might say i have , an agenda against Mesut Ozil

I was a big defender of Mesut abot untill the Baku game.

Yes i have made sly little digs against him on here,. Now one i want to have one more rant about Oezil before i praise him later on If any game summed up Ozil's career for Arsenal, it was Baku. Sulked off the pitch after a dreadful performance, and tried to make it all about himself as always

Although I don't think Arteta is good enough for this club, the best thing he has done has been freezing Ozil out, and keeping him out, showing that Ozil's sly media tricks no longer work, and I thank him for that massively.

From 2009 to early 2017 Mesut was one of best players in Europe , also one of my fav and it went even horrible after 2018 world cup.

Despite the last few seasons, i can finally drop my agenda lol will miss the debates on here talk about him. Signing him on deadline day was great. Still get goosebumps remembering the goal to make it 3-2 vs Liverpool. That goal against Ludogorets...Good luck in turkey. And then the MLS later on.

He has cause mayhem the only thing he deserves is a taxi and FA else.

He hasn’t caused anything, he’s a contracted player who stands up for what he believes in.

WTF have you been hiding, he has disrupted the club and team.

Shame, one of my favorites of all time, knew he was a force and wanted him from the goal he scored in the 2010 WC but Real beat us to it. Was easy to see he was a cut above the rest of our team (perhaps exc Sanchez & Santi), when we played superior teams he more often than not, was the only one who didn't look out of his depth.

From what I read here, if it's true that he is a 'trouble maker' behind the scenes, skipping meetings, skipping training, feigning injury ect, then that's a disease that needs to be eradicated before it spreads, especially to newer and younger players. This stinks of the attitude you are too important to be dropped or doing just enough to get by. If this is the reasoning of him being ostracized, I can back it, but it should never have got to this stage in the first place.

I was ecstatic when we signed him and will have some amazing moments to cherish, but sadly for me he crossed a line at Baku that I can't forgive and after that moment I felt instead of fighting for the team he is wrapped up in his own self importance, coupled with a decline last 3 years I can't help but feel with regret, good riddance.

Yup, Goonerz soul purpose in life is to hate Ozil, that's the only reason he uses the forum.

Ozil got him good.

I've been a fierce critic of Ozil and still resent the fact he's taken 30m out of the club's bank for doing nothing in the last 18 months when he could have just walked away .... but seems that's all over now.

Wish him well at Fenerbahce, and will remember him for the good times rather than the angst,
