I wish he was buddy, but he's contracted unti 2021 and on his salary he's got no reason to move on.

I have stated over and over that Ozil is not the player to drag a team forward, he is not a leader and people should not expect him to lead. He is a player that needs a support network and if the players around are not performing Ozil won't either.
But where you are flabbergastingly wrong is, you claim Ozil needs top players around him to perform well, so how is it that he led the assists and chances created stats while playing for Arsenal teams that included Walcott, Giroud, Welbeck, Coquelin, Elneny, Iwobi, Xhaka, Oxo, Gnabry, Campbell, Bendtner!!
In fact, the only truly top players Ozil has played with at Arsenal have been Cazorla, Rosicky and Sanchez ffs

People aren't flip-flopping. Most have already made their minds. They just wait for him to have a "poor," game to pounce at him.
If Ozil doesn't play, I'm sure we'd win the League.
Laca was even worse than ozil and needs to go too im affraid

But as soon as we drop points the dweebs roll in with their incessant whining and criticism, as if Ozil is the biggest problem we have.
Do you hear that ....... that is the sound of predictability, that is the sound of Ozil bashing as soon as we drop points.
Don't you see the problem - as soon as our supposed superstar goes missing we drop points - and it now happens more often than not.
You can't build a team around a player who simply doesn't turn up every week, what's so hard to understand.
Arteta set us up yesterday with three attacking players around Ozil to give him the targets he can supposedly find 'with his eyes closed' 70 minutes later having had just 28 touches and made zero key passes he was dragged off ... meanwhile our game-plan was in ruins, Arteta must be pulling his hair out in frustration what more can he do for our pampered showpony?
The sooner Arteta grasps what pretty much every manager Ozil has had in the last ten years realised - you don't build a team around Ozil - only ruin lies in that direction.
Not Ozil's fault he only works at his best when surrounded by top quality players, he's simply not capable of dragging an average team upwards week in week out ... how many times must he fail before you get that?

You drumming about it won't change the fact that Ozil is always targeted whenever we lose or he doesn't have a great game.
And you can keep your whataboutism with you.

That assist vs Norwich.
Creating your own space, using dribbling skill!!! This is essential for an attacking midfielder sling with passing
This is the biggest thing we are missing right now. We don't have to even buy Grealish. Harit can do the same at the very least. This is an example of the players out there we need to buy to solve our creative issues.
This is what i cannot understand, why people are so emotional about keeping him when Ozil is clearly past it and there are many, many good players out there who can do much, much better!
Remember, Grealish is doing this for f***ing Aston Villa. Imagine how good he would be with Auba on the end of his passes!!!

It absolutely makes zero sense. What half decent player wouldn’t look good when surrounded by players better than him?
It is a weird statement. Ain’t that what describes a typical mouthy bully or playground bully? He is only strong and mouthy when surrounded by bigger much older friends of his. But without then he is a coward. “But but i need my stronger mates around me to prove how strong I am.”.
It’s also like saying, “I am intelligent and can only prove it by sitting next to my much more intelligent classmates that will let me copy their answers during Exams. Then I can claim how super intelligent I am.”.
Isn’t it meant to be the other way around?
So called world class players make their teammates better? Aren’t good players supposed to standout from a bunch of poor / average players?
It’s a very weird tilt on reality as we know it..
