Walcott has done very well at Everton

Nasri was quality for City

Walcott has hardly done anything at Everton (5 goals in 21, its fine but not unreal) and Nasri had 1 good season for City otherwise kept going in and out of the team.

Not seen Everton since Theo joined?

Hes arguably been their best player this calendar year

As for Nasri, if RVP isnt included as a flop after he left us cos of that one season then neither should Nasri

His recent failings aside ( result wise) , Wenger will be remembered as one of the greatest Player's Manager. Truly a loving and kind man for his charges.

Cole and van Persie are the only major successes.

Nasri was okay-ish for City but nowhere as good as he was for us in 10/11. If Cesc piggybacked on Messi and Chelsea players, Nasri also did the same on Aguero, Yaya, and Tevez (during that final stretch) that season.

No ex-Gunner, save for van Persie, has gone on to become the main man for a title winning side.

Henry was a Juventus flop before Arsenal, he owes his career to Wenger.

Dunno what that has to do with Henry being an integral part of his new club after leaving Arsenal, but okay.

Henry joined an already GOAT team in their absolute peak, they were killing it before and killed it after he left.

He was an option for them. With us he was a god.

He still smashed it for them but he was no way near as influential for them as he was for us.

No way - its the Mourinho effect !! He can't be world class one season and then shite the next, the same way Bergkamp was not world class when he went to Inter then a season later he was shite.

Thats hardly a slight on the man when they had the best player in the world there !!! How can anyone have as much of an affect on a team as Messi !!

What does your post have to do with anything ? Its a fact Henry went on to do great things after leaving Arsenal, thats what the conversion is about.

Eh, it's not just Messi though.

Peak

iniesta
Xavi
Puyol
Etoo
Abidal
Yaya toure
Thuram

This was not just any old team he was walking into, this would become the team of teams.

Tbf, I agree with you, he added class, but his impact wasn't really that huge for them, he was more of an extra diamond to throw on to an already diamond encrusted chain kind of thing.

It wasn't like when middlesbourough somehow managed to bring juninho in lol.

My point is, he could have played 1 game for them and they still would have been the GOAT team.
