Was definately not the worst player on the park, and given the weeks he has not played held his own still is too light weight for me to be in the side full time I think he offers a attacking option we dont have alot of in midfeild though, but putting hope in Ozil to produce game in and out shows where the club is. The place needs a re-think
Tactics
Personal
Manager
And if it's not changes, everyone needs to put differences aside and get on the same page and that's in no means pointed at Ozil its club wide

He made two or three world class passes and other than that was a passenger.

But that's like saying Auba only scored two goals and was a passenger.

Those passes resulted in a goal otherwise we'd of lost 2-1.

Ozil always gets called out for being a passenger when the whole team plays bad, and yet people don't see that we had several other players playing the passenger role as well. I wish people would look at Ozil with a bit of logic and perspective. But since he's on such a high wage and we expect so much of him the microscope is always on every little step he takes.

I think Emery has actually made his questionable attitude and demeanor worse. He doesn't look like he likes playing for him. It's not an excuse, cause he should still be a professional and give his all. But I didn't have a problem with any of his play yesterday. He ran and chased when needed, could have done it a bit more, but so could have a few others.

Agree with alot has been said.

Ozil created what he could when our whole team was pants. As soon as he and Ceballos went off we surrendered complete control in the midfield. At least those two retain possession and they weren't helped when our defence can't make simple passes.

Emery got it wrong against Watford big time. He just needs to make sure he learns from it.

It would have been stupid to bring him on today when we are a defender down, it would be like having 2 defenders down, we won anyway thank f**k.

The quote that springs to mind in consideration of the situation between Emery and his handling of Ozil, is that a bad workman always blames his tools.

Two of our most fluid/smooth games have been with Ozil on the pitch. 1st half against Watford and this game against Forest so far.

Say what you want. We haven't looked this comfortable all season. Sure, it's lowly Forest. But we made Villa look like 11/12 Real Madrid the other day. So yeah.

ceballos has dropped absolute stinkers ever after the Burnley game

Has had great game against Burnley btw. A 0/10 at anfield then another at Watford and Aston Villa

willock could be first choice by end of the season imo.

^ He doesn't seem to be a creative/flair player. He's a B2B CM from what I've seen of him.
