Stepanovs tho

Andre Santos close second imo. To this day I have no idea how he was capped leg alone snuck onto a power league pitch.

I'd rather play with 4 v 5

Andre Santos scored in that Chelsea game tbh

And his goal took us in the CL back in 2012

He wasn't that good but better than Danny comfortably

Denilson was the one who first brought endless sideways passing to Arsenal.

For that alone he deserves special condemnation.

Class how many times ? 1 game out of 20. He had it all ...... he had the potential to be better than Vieira ... but in reality he did zilch.

I don't think Denilson was that bad, he was a pretty decent bridge between defence and the forwards, he kept the ball moving. I don't think he deserves to be in the worst Arsenal players conversation, but neither does Danny Welbeck.

Denilson was a bit a crab though, that I cannot deny.

Tbf I pretty much stopped watching Arsenal on tv due to work commitments during that time. Still went to games using the season ticket I shared with my brother but I didn't see that Chelsea game for example or either of the 5-2 wins v Spurs and many more.

Never saw how bad everyone said he was and I'm not one to go by what others say. I mean people on here think welbeck is a good player ffs when he is one of the worst if not the worst ever. I guess football isn't the sport for some people but that's ok.

When I think of santos I think of those 2 goals and the top changing at half time with the c***. I didn't care about that then or now. Can't think of a horror performance but that's cos I didn't watch him enough probably.

Only started watching regularly again 13/14 season as Ramsey confirmed legend status

I saw Santos, he was terrible, the worst LB I have ever seen with my own eyes play for Arsenal. That in itself isn't that bad a thing considering Arsenal have had very good LBs down the line. I remember from Kenny Sansom up until now, I don't remember which temporary LBs we had, Gio Van Bronkhurst was decent, Silvinho was too.

The problem with Santos was, he dwelled on the ball and lost it, positionally he was shite and he couldn't defend. He was more of an offensive LB but as such he was a disaster when it came to defending. He actually looked totally clueless at times and one wonders how he managed to get so far in the professional game.

He would do some absolutely spectacular things with the ball at his feet, then immediately follow it up with the most idiotic clumsiest thing you've ever seen a footballer do.

Damn I remember I was in the stadium for his debut I think and I told this random fan Santos would be great.. Little did I know he was not great at all.
Wembley:
Community Shield @6-8-'23 = 1*-1 Manchester City

Emirates Stadium:
First game @10-9-'11 = 1 - 0 Swansea
Most memorable game @24-2-'22 = 2 - 1 Wolves
Last game @09-03-'24 = 2 - 1 Brentford
Next game @03-04-'24 = VS Luton [ Block 121 - Seat 847 ]
