Let him stay if he want. Not many better players want to be a third choice striker. Wellbeck is still better than Nketiah at this moment. I also think Welbeck is better with a coach like Emery who like to give clear instruction to his players. Under Wenger he has to think for himself, and often looked lost and didn't know what to do. Same with Iwobi who also looks much better now. No headlesschickeness for there two so far this season.

Im not his biggest fan, if you are looking for out and out goals Danny boy is not your man. But there is a reason why managers continue to play him and its that reason thst most fans on this forum miss!

I like it that I see what others do not, call it "sight beyond sight" like the Eye of Thundera or just that my football knowledge is more sophisticated than the Welbeck haters. Oh no he didn't :P :sneaky2:

Ha ha, tickled by the Thundercats reference.

I've figured out over the years that there will always be dead wood in the team at any given point, it's just a question of how much and how bad

Welbeck is some of the most useful dead wood we've had for years. No saying I'll miss him but just remember, no Welbeck does not equal no dead wood

don't think emery rates him, wanted to sell him this yer iirc so no chance he gets a new deal.

One thing that I won't miss about him is I've always seen him as a bit soft. He optimised the late Wenger era nicey nicey bollocks that I couldn't stand

His shirt was too clean. His hair too neat. Stop f***ing smiling.

It's not the fact that Welbeck and Ramsey are leaving .. that's kindda Meh ... it's the fact we will get feck all for them ...

When - Leicester pay 22m for Silva ... Stoke pay 18m for Wimmer ... Swansea pay 11m for Mesa - Everton pay 24m for Klaassen ... all of them utter garbage

How do we possibly end up giving two current International players away for free? ... that's probably 50m just pissed away right there ...

Can't slate him, he's tried his best to help out and has delivered goals.

If the man wants first team then good luck to him.

I have no fear about Emery and Misinslat getting suitable replacements, look who've they've brought in so far, every player they have bought has been an asset.

Not commenting until I see a credible story to comment on. This just looks like fluff, like Ramsey to Real Madrid.
