In terms of football ability and intelligence he is literally the worst player we've ever had under Wenger.

He had a chance tonight and through this competition to show that he's not a complete tw*t with a ball at his feet.

3-0 none his.

So far he is failing miserably, Ozil who hardly scores and our old ass left back is outdoing him for goals right now.

Don't know what it is but we as a team are horrible striker wise, compared to other teams our strikers just can't get shots off, its getting embarrassing.

dreadful, any good forward tonight in welbecks situation would make sure they come off this pitch with a goal.

As I had been saying...play Nketiah the entire match.

He would have gotten at least one goal.

Would have done wonders for his development.

Welbeck is what he is. Shit.

The funniest part is that we saw that dreadful performance from Welbeck one day after Wenger tells the press that he has been looking really sharp.

Lol...Wenger never learns.

Convert him into a Zaha type winger. Would be great at it.

Nketiah is a little too young. Needs a few seasons at least to be a serious contender. We have had moments like this with Afobe, Akpom where they've dazzled at the youth level but fizzled at the first sight of senior football. Hopefully Nketiah and Mavididi do better.

The point is, he can't be any worse than Welbeck

The bar is already set low and it's pretty much laying on the ground.

He can actually. Welbeck has better physical presence, stamina and experience in bringing others into the game. Playing Nketiah at this stage runs the risk of shattering his confidence. He needs to be eased into first team football.

Usually I'd agree on the age thing but .......... he makes better runs and has better movement than Welbeck has, is more hungry to impress and quite frankly I'd have more faith in him in front of goal than Welbeck, so I say play him.

Why should we let age > talent be a thing? results is all that count and even in his short cameo he looks like a more dangerous player than Welbeck did for 80mins.
