He does a job, you don't want to pin your hopes on him getting 20 goals a season but he should reach double figures and do a whole lot of other work as well.

Perfectly fine for a backup striker. And what a Boop it was too !!

The fun thing about welbeck is that if he plays badly he's still meme-worthy. You always get a goal or a laugh

Danny Welbeck is a target of Crystal Palace as the club looks to seal a deal in January according to the Sun.

The Arseanl forward is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to be offered a new deal by the Gunners.

Palace, meanwhile, could certainly use a boost in the goalscoring department and Roy Hodgson has experience with Welbeck dating back to his tenure as England boss.

He's very expendable but not in January

We have more important business to deal with. Personally I would sell Elneny and Mhki, and buy a winger

Welbeck can go in Summer

The only exception is if he's part of a deal for Zaha. Zaha wouldn't be my first choice but it's not a crazy idea to sign him

New back up striker incoming. A rough gem from some random league dug up by sven. World star within 18 months.

We should bid for Lukaku for our 3rd string striker just to piss on ManU.

Offer 10 million. :rofll:

Seems like he's going in January.

If he does this might reduce the times Emery plays Laca and Auba together starting wise, Auba will probably play up front in Europa games and come on as impact sub in the Prem.

Not sure if he'll be happy with that?

But if Welbeck is sold who do we put up front in the Europa games? i think it will be Auba.

I think it is always good to have a hard working and great athletic striker like danny when don't count on him to score regularly. We have two great strikers in Aubameyang n Lacazette, we just need Dan to fight hard to win some balls at the front, score occasionally.

Makes no sense to sell him in January.

I agree I'd like Danny to stay at least till Summer but it seems the club may of made up their minds.

Maybe we are collecting fund to buy a winger in January? If so, then that should be a good call.

↑ Welbeck has 6 months left on his contract - the money he'd fetch is negligible meaning his sale wouldn't have much of an influence on the possibility of sealing an incoming transfer.
