Hes shit and we should have so much better. By comparison, city have jesus, spurs have son, man u have a shit ton of forwards that can step in and cause damage.

Heres a stat for welbeck. In his arsenal career, hes scored 5 goals where he hasnt fallen over or accidentally deflected the ball off his shin and somehow bamboozled his team mates, the opposition, both sets of fans, his parents and himself to convert the chance.

To be fair Loic Remy and Michael Owen scored a few goals where they had no idea what body part the ball came off.

Would literally rather see Nelson or Eddie on the pitch than him.

How about we get rid of both - Iwobi and Wellback?

Nketiah should be getting minutes over Iwobi and Welbeck.

Now that is the kid that should be getting a chance.

Iwobi and Welbeck need to be shipped out. They have had their chances and they have failed.

+1
Nelson and Nketiah instead of these two

Turn him into a maurauding right winger. Use his natural athleticism and pace to go past full backs and cross into the box. Could be lethal on the right flank with Auba down the middle on a counter.

I had nothing better to do first thing this morning so I thought I would investigate how effective we are as a team when Danny Welbeck starts games. I had a hunch that we would be more defensively solid and would therefore lose less games - especially when playing the so-called top 5 teams. This is what I found:

League games
Started 41 games. Won 18. Lost 12. Drawn 10.

Domestic Cups
Started 9 games. Won 6. Lost 1. Drawn 2.

Against top 5 teams
Started 17 games. Have not lost 11, lost 6.

What does it all mean ? When Welbeck starts games against any of the top 5 clubs we don't lose 64.7% of those games !!!! As I suspected.

Is that because the match is actually 60mins long when he plays rather than the regular 90, due to the ball boys having to run outside the stadia every time he shoots?

Why not show draws and wins instead of have not lost? 1 point is nowhere near 3
