I think we are overlooking Nketiah.

This kid needs playing time.

He is an instinctive striker.

Eddie has come to an age where he needs to play 30-50 games of professional football per season, not make the odd cup/sub appearance and stagnate for eternity.

He'll be a very good acquisition for CP, for £10m, Welbeck running at the opposition with Zaha will make them a more dangerous team.

I'd like to keep him but for Danny maybe this could be his chance to shine, I don't think he'd have anyone at CP that will keep him from starting up front?

Agreed on Nketiah, not sure what the deal is but he seems ready for at least easy games, guy seems like he could be the real deal, don't know why the managers are cool on featuring him?

Danny gives us an option we don't currently have. We need a Plan B, the physical/big forward. Selling Welbz and not replacing him would be foolishness especially because he is scoring goals at the moment.

Maybe we are collecting fund to buy a winger in January? If so, then that should be a good call.

↑ Welbeck has 6 months left on his contract - the money he'd fetch is negligible meaning his sale wouldn't have much of an influence on the possibility of sealing an incoming transfer.

We are on a tight budget. Any income would count. I think 30M could get us a young winger with lots of potential. So if we make 10M from Welbeck then that would only cost us 20M to build an almost complete team.

Wenger had so much sentiment he would have kept him, although it is ruthless the club has to let him go and I expect they will do the right thing, obviously let him complete his rehab here.
