Idiot tried to take on 3 players by himself. Lost the ball because of his atrocious footballing abilities which ends up being a counter attack for Griezzman and of course he scores.

What's worse is he dived.

Look how he tries to drag his left foot and manufacture contact. c***.

Can't wait until he and his dusty high top are gone.

Embarrassing.

Again, where was he going??

Looking at the video, there were 4 players around him, not 3 like I said earlier lol...

Not going to blame Welbz for tonight's performance. Atletico is simply too high of a level for him to play against.

He is in the squad solely because we sold Alexis, he's marginally better thab Iwobi and PEA is ineligible to play. It's not his fault Wenger decided to sell Giroud/Walcott and chose to keep him.

One simple ball over the top bamboozled the clown defenders!! How is that Welbeck's fault ? He tried a ting up front and lost the ball, thats what he is there to do - to run at players. Won't always come off. Does Messi have a 100% success rate running at players !!

If the fools at the back can't defend a long ball against one of the smallest and most lightweight players in world football thats not Welbeck's fault. How many times has a simple ball over tje top caught our defence out this season!! But people want to blame Welbeck.

One our best players set up an excellent chance on play for laca to f**k up and set up Ramsey who's shot was eventually blocked Godin, there was a chance where Welbeck was unmarked in the middle of the box for an easy tap in but laca thought he was prime CR7 or something and chose to be greedy

Was crap last night, couldn't penetrate because he wasn't good enough, didn't get on the end of Laca's gift crosses because he never took the chance to commit.

Showed he belongs to play only against weaker opposition.

There you go, if your going to be a pr*ck about one of our players who actually scored I can do it as well.

great work rate, terrible end product.

he or laca should've been subbed though. fresh legs could've made a difference.
cheers!

Our bench was nonexistent ............. another of Wenger's legacy's.

Although I will allow him this much, Mkhi was out and so was Auba.

I get that our bench was what it was.....but nkeitah, kola or even iwobi could've at least brought some energy even for five minutes.

make a decision: either attack with fresh legs or sit to defend the away goal with fresh legs......we did neither.
cheers!

hmmmmm

Wellbeck made 43 passes 91% went to an Arsenal player, he created 3 good goal scoring chances (all his teammates missed the target that's not his fault) he completed 5 dribbles .... he lost the ball just four times all night .... he had three shots two on target

Lacca made 31 passes 74% went to an Arsenal player, created 5 good goal scoring chances, he completed 2 dribbles .... he lost the ball nine times .... he had eight shots with two on target ... but he did his job and scored ....

So all in all a pretty good night's work by Wellbeck, indeed one of his best performances .... sure he lost the ball for their goal but 100% that was down to poor defending and not his fault ....

if you want a dog of a performance ......

Hollywood made just 57 passes 86% went to an Arsenal player, he created just 1 good goal scoring chance, he completed just 1 dribble .... he lost the ball twelve times .... he had eight shots but failed to score ....

welbz worked his ass off, but did have a sitter himself that he messed up. and I wasn't even blaming him for counter away goal.

but as always, welbz end product against quality defensive sides isn't there. he worked and put in a good shift, yes......but for me, not enough.

Hollywood was horrible I agree. but we needed better all around.
cheers!

I dont hate Danny, the issue is hes a inside forward so his job is to score goals like Sanchez did and he does not give us even 1% of what Alexis did.

We need homegrown players and hes a good squad player so selling him is not the answer, but we do need someone better than him for the Left inside forward role, we need a potential superstar like Martial.
