Plus I did say worst first teamer in regards to Danny. Santos played what, 20 games for us if that

Santos may have been bad but he's not welbeck level bad in terms of how long he was here, the cost and actual shitness on the pitch.

Don't forget, every single one of us laughed at how shit he was at Man Utd with his epic 1 goal season in a mancs title winning side and he played shit load of games too in an attacking position. Then he joins us which for some automatically makes him good. For me and most knowledgable fans we were in dismay but willing to give him a chance to come good.

We still wait.

I simply cannot comprehend how anyone can use a chronic injury record to define a player other than extremely unfortunate and a loss.

If both Bergkamp and Vieira had got injured after only playing 10-15 games for us and never again got to string together more than 3 or 4 games due to perpetual injuries, they would rightfully have been deemed as shit, under performing players, yeah?

Class how many times ? 1 game out of 20. He had it all ...... he had the potential to be better than Vieira ... but in reality he did zilch.

Loool

Based on what?

I hate this comparison; just because Diaby was a tall, black, skinny French midfielder people compared him to Vieira.

Just like how any young, pacey, black French striker is the next Henry.

Such a lazy cliche.

Now literally any small black midfielder is the next Kante

Diaby was a unique player, super quick feet

He was a better dribbler of the ball, had better balance, could break up play and bring the ball forward, had better range of passing too. Like I said, fantastic potential, he could've been better than Vieira. No lazy cliché, it is what it is. He had far better tekkers than Vieira

Pre Sunderland game I think the paddy comparisons were legite, I know he showed his talent at times after that game but I think his football soul left him that day

Vieira is the best CM in PL history.

To say Diaby could've become that is incredible hyperbole.

He was a better dribbler than Vieira, but so was Wilshere.

No one has ever had Vieira's combination of size, physicality, athletiscm, grit, technique, mental strength and iq.

He is a one-off.
