He just needs more confidence and belief. That will fix every single flaws in his game, I swear! He's about to come good, be patient.

I have plenty of time for Welbeck, want him to have a full pre season and see what happens.

What I like about him is his energy. Ok, his finishing could be better, but he gets in behind which then drags defenders out to where they don't want to be - creating space for our other offensive players. Its the reason SAF played him so much and the reason he has been an England regular when there were other strikers available with better goal scoring records. With Welbeck its not just about goals.

agreed, but he's a proven choker in front of net. honestly, I'd take him over the lamp post any day of the week. but sadly, this is arsenal.....we shouldn't have the likes of welbeck or the lamp post.

thanks to the Grinch.
cheers!

They can't. He is shit.

Even today, other than the one rare goal he will give you in a handful of matches, you saw his dreadful first touch and poor positioning. Wasted some great opportunities against a really poor ManU defense.

The guy has a very low footballing IQ and is compounded by the fact that his first touch and finishing is absolutely dreadful.

It is shameful that after years of wanting a quality striker we still have this guy being sent out to play as a striker. Tells you what the status of Arsenal football club is today.

That overhead attempt lol... Slow down Danny! Baby steps lol

There's not much else to add about Dannyyyyyyy. Aside from Yaya Sanogo, any professional donkey can score a goal here and there. I'm glad he did score and no, this in no way "silence the hater", "prove everyone wrong" or "vindicate the faith put in him".

I'm happy to have him as a sub though, but never as the main outlet. But hey, he's got a great smile, he looks like a nice chap, so we should keep him, right? I almost forgot that he runs all day and his workrate his great. He might be terrible at dribbling and shooting, he's got a terrible first touch but he runs man, he runs so much, he's a keeper (not).

That being said, great goal against Man U Dannyyyyyyyyy!

The most pointless and wastefull footballer with the worst first touch with a movement scientifically designed to stay away from the trajectory of a football arriving in to the box
