As long as he don't start in any meaningful fixture I'm fine with him staying

Should have been playing on Charlton but instead he is playing for charlatan (Wenger).

I thought he picked up his level a bit in the 2nd half. He really is the only ball winner we have and when he plays well he's very good at that.

Patience needed.

The problem is that under pressure Coq gets himself into trouble .... he's now playing in a midfield which is almost constantly under pressure, that would likely find out a lot of players .... the problem he has is that opposition players are aware of this weakness, so against a strong pressing side ... dippers, spuds, chelski ... he's now become a liability ... at 26 that's not likely to change, and certainly not without much better coaching than he's been getting at Arsenal ..........

Put him alongside 'fighters' like Matic and Kante and he'd get all the time in the world just as Cesc and Hazard do, same goes with Spuds where Wanyama and Dembele give Eriksen and Alli all day to pick a pass or make a run ...

Coq's got Xhaka, Ramsey, Walnut, Ox and Ozil .... there's not an ounce of fight between all of them ...

The problem is Xhaka not Coquelin he plays great alongside Cazorla and decent alongside Ramsey.

Lmao

Not even gonna rag on him anymore. Everyone knows he's nowhere near a great player but can become a useful one. There was no point of him being on the pitch when the other teams got a deep block like yesterday

Should be off the bench when securing a lead and us ourselves implementing a deep line

Not surprising, cos he is good, when he's on form.

Too much flip flopping on here makes players world class after a few good games and utter dogshit should be in league 1 after a few bad games. He's been in poor form this season but it started with him being asked to do a new role and given no time to learn it.

Hopefully this is the start of him getting his form back and Simslad having to embarrassingly backtrack once more ;)
