This.

When the epitome of a model professional with zero career controversies decides to something so out of character, you have to entertain the idea there is a lot more to the story than we're privy to.

Look at raul under barca and specially how he signed neymar. Very dodgy character

We really don't know what happens behind the scenes and how often his character gets tested to assume he's a model professional. It's how you conduct yourself in these sort of situations that counts. The club could have acted like absolute asswipes in this situation, but Kos has let himself and his teammates down by refusing to train and travel to America. He's club captain and senior player.

The club is disgusted by kos refusing to train to move while encouraging zaha to do the same to get a move

You got me, PG.

Still, the guy is hardly an outlaw and one of the select few loyal servants we've had during the Emirates era.

£40m plus Elneny, Chambers&Jenkinson for Zaha! When Kosceilny is on Strike, won't go on tour cause he wants to move on due to Form Dip, so we have NO PROBLEM up front, but Clear issues behind, yet we want to add more toppings, with the relative little £45m Arsenal has, Kosceilny is CONFIRMING Arsenal need a Def 1st!!!

Captain Lauren Kosceilny is an Honorable man, IT IS KNOWN
He does this for Arsenal, because we don't need Zaha, We NEED DEFENDERS!!

All of the Top6 are moving foward with Youth & Strength
But Arsenal want to go into the 2019/20 Season with 2x 33 going on 34yr old Defenders REALLY!

Thats like 2 Liechsteiners by Dec, should they even last the year

By then we have to call the water boy to defend. Adam Sandler, Pure Comedy! This Management.

It's a simple contract dispute from the sound of it.

we either let him buy out his contract or lose him on a free next year. solution's obvious.

The sooner he goes the better. He's been a complete failure and should have been moved on years ago.

Do players refuse to go on preseason tours over simple contract disputes?

Of course. It happens often when a player wants to leave but can't get his way.
