Impressive you can get injured from sitting at home for 3 months

Back in full training. Arteta treated him personally. Great stuff

Didn't even get a look in against Villa and the fact that he very rarely even features as a substitute suggests Arteta does not rate him.

Will be interesting to see whether he'll do a Winston Bogarde or sacrifice a pay cut and move elsewhere in order to play more frequently.

Papa is not slow at all if you've ever saw him run live you'll realise. Prone to a free kick absolutely!

Sokratis is a shocking footballer but right now we have no other options since mari are got injured, it’s just holding and sokratis. Neither are left footed and both pretty slow, leading arteta to play kolasinac LCB over them when Tierney needs a rest

Should've played a lot more than he has

Agreed. Definitely can feel hard done by to be behind mustafi and holding. I think he’s much more trustworthy than both of them.

I don't think we'd have looked any stronger in defence in recent weeks with him in the side, he's had a poor season and is clearly well past his best. Arteta doesn't seem to rate him at all so imagine we'll get rid in the summer.

Hoping we can move him on along with Mustafi, leaving us with Luiz, Mari, Holding and Saliba, plus a quality replacement (I hope).

Hmmm I'm a little suspect about Mari, but time will tell.

Yeah wouldn't put Mari ahead of Sokratis.

Barely fit and barely played. And been nothing special when he has played. Good squad cover.

He has to play against Watford, we are again running out of match fit CBs ahead of the cup final,
