He got caught out once against Cardiff. Lucky not have given a penalty away, other than that, he did nothing wrong.

Been solid. He would look even more solid with a GK who can handle the ball with his feet and a DM who does not have a turning radius of a double decker bus.

Should be playing for Cardiff not Arsenal.

I was fearing a Mustafi V.2

So far, he's done better than what I was expecting. I especially liked the cynical foul he committed against Chelsea to stop a dangerous counter attack. (or was it against West Ham?).

He's not a top class defender but i'm more than ok with him.

Still laughable that people were already shitting on him after a friendly against Boreham wood

Good start to the season

I remember someone posted I think Auba IG with results for speed test or something like that and we all were like how did Sokratis test Top 3 lol
Even the commentators say every game that he is slow of foot like that's the scouting report but he's been showing good speed when isolated

People get confused with acceleration and overall pace.

He's not that quick off the mark because he's a big lump but when he gets going he's very quick. He kept up with Jacob Murphy on a couple of occasions yesterday and ended up ushering the ball out for a goal kick.

He's formed a good partnership with Mustafi. Both have been solid so far this season and are building quite a good understanding with each other.

It's just annoying that we keep conceding silly goals.

I will give him a solid 7/10 so far as an Arsenal player. Against City he was good and at Chelsea he was a 6.5/10.
Mustafi is a complete joke and not making it easy for Sokratis..

Sokratis reminds me of big Usian Bolt, slow off the mark but once he is in the groove he accelerates. Smaller player have a low centre of gravity and accelerate straight away off tge mark (Walcott, Bellerin etc).

And about Mustafi. I don’t l know what games you have been watching so far this season. And just yesterday in the Newcastle game he was terrible and we got lucky that Newcastle is a poor team because from the 4 clear cut situations where Mustafi was left on the floor or misjudged the flight of the balls into our penalty box Newcastle did not take advantage. The final 5 minutes Newcastle had 2 glorious headed opportunities, one was tipped over by Cech and the other they scored from. And on both occasions Mustafi was the common factor. Looked like Bambi on Ice.

That is my 2 cent worth of opinion. :-)
