We can't even play an emergency CB because Emery knows the Academy Option is worse than Xhaka there. If that's not a damning indictment of our youth, I don't know what is. But people would rather blame Emery because they can think our academy is awesome then

Same. That Old Trafford performance is like Wilshere's Barcelona, and even then, he wasn't that good. We dominated an utterly average United once so that makes it good apparently (And we only went and lost the game)

Yeah, because Niles was Balon D'Or winner 2018 before Unai

He looked a different player today and close to the great talent we saw for U21s - key is for him to have the belief to drive at players and always be looking to drive forward.

I thought Unai had finished Balon D'Or winner 2018?

No one said Balon winner but he's a solid talent - just needs the right coaching

I just dont get this player. I am told over and over how talented he is, but I just dont see it. He may be a decent athlete, but he is extremely sloppy player with very poor concentration and very lazy player. I just dont get it

Needs to be locked into a position. I think his place is on the right flank either as a right midfielder or right wing back. Good squad option long term but likely not a starter.

Oh .......... so are you saying Emery must be doing something right then?

Maybe like playing him in midfield rather than as a LB, possibly?
