Another great game. Time he was given games in midfield

Also got MOTM

But people would rather watch Xhaka who struggles against high pressure teams, or Elneny who is afraid of passing the ball forward

Good for him. Shame he's had to go elsewhere to get his chance in midfield. Hopefully it works out for him because a lot of doubt was thrown on his ability and people rubbished the possibility of him being a midfielder.

Good news.

Looks like the club's decision to send him out on loan may be paying off for his development.

Let's hope he keeps it up consistently.

Meanwhile we suffer Xhaka and Cebalos. Yeah real good decision.

I'm happy for him, he is a CM by trade and has played almost all of his senior Arsenal career as a full back. But I saw him as a CM, he was ok the times I saw him play, nothing special, but if he is proving he can do the job in the Prem I would be more than happy to see him play for Arsenal. He can't be worse than Xhaka, I know he is not worse than Xhaka anyway.

I wonder if there is any truth to the rumour my mate dodgy Dave heard that 3 eeeks ago, fofty sauntered into the West Brom changing room ahead of training whistling da da, da dah da da da, after having watched the classic war film 'The Great Escape' in his hotel room the night before, and had everyone joining in as they went out to train.

Great that he's making the most of the loan. But then what? West Brom are going down and they won't offer to take him permanently. Arteta won't use him as a CM, and he won't want to be a bench option either.

Was he better than them for central midfield when he was with us?

For me he made too many mistakes.

But he's young and can improve.
