Has been shit whenever he's played but didn't watch the game last night.

Saved Nelson according to the highlights

Still undecided on what his future position will be - if you purely look at his skill set (pace, strength, composure) RB/RWB seems the most plausible.

Reckon if he can improve on his concentration he could have a future as defensive midfielder.

Don't think he has the final ball or dribbling ability to excel in a more advanced role at Premier League level.

Thoughts?

I liked him at most as a CM tbh. His best games for us came from.there. Against Southampton last year and this year against Köln.
He can pass, get forward and also tackle.

If he can improve his stamina and strength, I can see him becoming a lesser version of Kante. That is a ball hunting CM. From what I've seen so far though, I would agree with Zenith for now and say that he should be playing as a RB since he's quick, not too bad at tackling, and seems to be able to put in a decent cross.

Growing in strength and stature with every game. I like the fact he's getting minutes, even out of position. Ultimately he'd make a fine holding midfielder or right back.

We've been seeking a DM for a while now but in Niles, Willock and McGuane we have some interesting options on the horizon.

Once Monreal/Kolasinac are fit I'd love to see him in CM instead of Xhaka.

McGuane is the pick of the litter. We must hold onto him. Wilock is physically more developed so am guessing he edged ahead.

+1

he's much quicker and more technical. but wenger will be stubborn with his favorites.

it's not about winning, it's about wenger trying to prove over and over again he didn't make a bad decision.
cheers!

Just needs to sort out his Sanogo style legs at times and he'll be decent.
